City Center update?

Question

Was wondering how the construction is coming along for the MGM City Center.  Haven&#x27;t been to Vegas in about 9 months and was just curious.  I heard they were supposedly having some construction delays, but wasn&#x27;t sure if that was correct.  Pretty excited to see the final product when it hopefully opens at the end of 2009.

my cousins company is actually doing all of the concrete work on that project . I was just in town a couple of weeks ago and that place looks amazing, ( If a construction site could look amazing) Ill be there thurs thru sunday of this week , what I do know is they are having problems getting the last bit of financing worked out for the project

I&#x27;ve never seen such a major project go up so fast.  Of course, at a price, there have been many accidents already.  Of course you know, it&#x27;s not just one building, it&#x27;s several, and it seems like overnight they went from nothing to part of the Vegas skyline.

I was talking to a union pipe-fitter last night who&#x27;s working at City Center.  The construction workers have a name for it, something like City Killer or something like that...not good.&#xD;&#xA;Oh, and thank you very much for changing that beyond annoying avatar.

I&#x27;m actually working on this project...It&#x27;s coming along nicely...It&#x27;s a mess getting to work every morning...I don&#x27;t think any state puts buildings up faster than Vegas...

(I was on my way BACK to the Rio from playing a quick 9 holes of Golf at 6am before it got crazy hot)&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;My guess is you start real early in the morning and quit sometime around noon?&#xD;&#xA;I cant imagine you guys out there when it gets REALLY hot in the afternoon.
