Whats up guys. I have been following covers members for a while now and I am about to take my second trip to Vegas. The first one was with my fiance and friends... this time I am going with just my buddies. It is actually my bachelor party so I am pretty pumped. We are going March 8(late) and leaving on March 12. There are 6 guys going and we will all have between 2-3k to spend each. We all like to drink and gamble obviously. Why else would you be going to Vegas. I was looking for some recommendations on where to go. What clubs/casinos to see. I have heard good things about Marquee .Also, we are going for the conference tournaments. What sports book would be the best to catch the games at during the day. Will any pool parties be going on during this time? Any suggestions that you guys have I would love to hear them. Thanks in advance.

Hard Rock has a new cantor sportsbook but if I was you I would head over to Bellagio. They have nice leather recliners and will comp your drinks. If your looking for atmosphere during the tournament head to Mandalay Bay. If you can care less about spending money and buying over priced booze head to Lagasses Stadium (Pallazzo) for the tournament. Think you have a reserve a couch/table though and must spend a certain amount of cash. As I type this I see you have 6 guys so Lagasse's might be better for you opposed to the Bellagio.
Clubs: Marquee is sick but highly expensive and overrated. Chateau(Paris) and XS (Encore) are better clubs IMO. Marquee is the hot spot at the time though. 1 OAK just opened on new years inside the Mirage as well has Hyde inside the Bellagio.
No real pool parties yet.
There is a capriottis sandwich shop next to the Hard Rock. There is a earl of sandwich inside Planet Hollywood for quick cheap good eats.
When I play the tables I head to Wynn.
No reason for you to head into the following Casinos. Hooters, Tropicana, Monte Carlo, Luxor, Excalibur, Imperial Palace, Treasure Island.
You like Pizza? Go to New York-New York Pizzeria. Order a XL Pie with garlic knots. Tell them to bring the Pizza out to your table as soon as its out of the oven. Its piping hot and delicious. Pizza is good at the pizza place inside Wynn and also the secret pizza spot inside the Cosmopolitan (3rd floor).
Eye Candy/Hookers: Wynn, Encore, Venetian, Pallazzo, City Center
If you guys plan on having a real nice dinner out there let me know and I can give you some suggestions.

I have heard great things about Bellgio sportsbook so i think we will definitly head there... I want to head to Pallazzo as well. Thanks again for the info. It was a huge help

I'm Italian and in my opinion the best Italian isn't on the strip. There is a place called Casa De Amore which isn't very far from your hotel that is excellent. Make a reservation by a phone call and they will come pick you up in a Limo. The restaurant has been there for awhile, is small and has an old vegas feel to it. Lots of pictures of the rat pack, the old las vegas casinos, etc. I love the place. Some of the best meatballs I have come across. Google the spot for a menu and head to yelp.com for reviews and pictures

I'm Italian and in my opinion the best Italian isn't on the strip. There is a place called Casa De Amore which isn't very far from your hotel that is excellent. Make a reservation by a phone call and they will come pick you up in a Limo. The restaurant has been there for awhile, is small and has an old vegas feel to it. Just a couple of amplifications: Make sure that you go to New York Pizza on the Mezzanine at NY/NY and NOT to the pizza place in the food court downstairs......DO NOT order slices....order a full pie, extra oregano....fresh, hot.....
As to Italian....the 2 best in Vegas......Casa and Ferraros.....Casa is not cheap; but has the best Osso Bucco in the United States...guarenteed. Casa is old-world Italian....a guy at the keyboard on weekends too.....
Steak?......This is where opinions can differ....also $$$$ I believe if you want a great "dining experience" then you have to go to Prime at Bellagio.....if you want less expensive and legit fun, go to Mon Ami Gabi at Paris.....SW and N9NE are tremendous....Bradley Ogden's place (BOA) is very good; but not as much as a steakhouse as the others....

take the time to get downtown to the Golden Nugget and check out Vic & Anthonys--lamb chops are simply fantastic,,steakhose salad and a glass of red and you are good to go- pass on desert,,great little chocolate shop as you exit with bite size stuff

So when I was young and a big hitter ( losing 3k in a trip was a big hitter to me) I stayed at the Monte Carlo. It was a legendary trip. It was one of those trips where for three days we could not lose. I was hot no matter what I played and stayed awake til the wee hours each night gambling like a fricking fiend and drinking even more. So at the end of the trip I go to the host to square up some dinners and the Crappy ass Lance Burton show and they tell me they will not comp me because I won too much! I went fucking ballistic. I screamed, " look asshole, I was giving you the play sorry I did not lose" They replied sir, it is not the play but the amount you lose. What a joke, I will never step back inside that property. Douches. Guess they wanted me to hit all my 20's?

Vegas story number 10,824.....
So when I was young and a big hitter ( losing 3k in a trip was a big hitter to me) I stayed at the Monte Carlo. It was a legendary trip. It was one of those trips where for three days we could not lose. I was hot no matter what I played and stayed awake til the wee hours each night gambling like a fricking fiend and drinking even more. So at the end of the trip I go to the host to square up some dinners and the Crappy ass Lance Burton show and they tell me they will not comp me because I won too much! I went fucking ballistic.
