Yes. Circa started charging for seating soon after they opened and now they’ve all followed.
This is absolutely disgraceful. The sports books are now making your pay for the pleasure of losing money to them (true for the vast majority of players). Every tourist casino does this now for March Madness and at least NFL Sunday. Some do for NCAA Saturday and even during the week.
My advice to you is consider a casino with a great book and free seating.
I believe MGM properties still offer free general seating (Bellagio, MGM, Mandalay, etc)
