First off, I created this account simply for this 1 adventure only. I have been reading here for a while and had an account years ago but I don't remember my username, password, email or any of that so im starting fresh.
I am from Tennessee and I got to Vegas last night. I came with 1000 after my flight. I spent 200 on the siegel suites Tropicana location for the week and I have to keep 400 for my airline ticket home if I need it (hoping this lasts forever). I now have 400 to spend but I only intend to use 200 of it and build it as long as I can. I am not afraid to go home which is great because I cant ever win when I bet scared. I will only bet sports (ONLY DOGS on basketball). I don't party or drink so lets see how this goes!
4 Plays tonight for 50 each
1.) Charlotte +10 (Wynn) vs Florida State...50 to win 45.45
2.) Tulane +8 (Wynn) vs Washington...50 to win 45.45
3.) Missouri State +21.5 (Wynn) vs Louisville...50 to win 45.45
4.) Belmont +4 (William Hill Hooters Tropicana) vs Denver...50 to win 45.45 **I see that this went up as high as 5.5 and at 5 now but I am comfortable with 4**
Say whatever you want to about this. I have money back home so I am not broke if this fails by any means but since I am unemployed right now, this is a great opportunity for me to try. I am doing this for my own self and I strongly believe in all picks that I play as I am not planning to go home for months!

Yes webba, that is for a week. I was debating whether to just go to reno because the lady at the siegel suites there quoted me 120 a week which is a steal. Keep in mind though that it is 200 but no sheets on bed or toiletries. Im staying until I go broke which might be tonight for all I know but I am settled for a week (no refunds). I cant stay in vegas with no money to gamble (I will go crazy) so I will eat whatever nights I have left and head home as soon as I lose this 200.

My favorite part of this thread is $200 for a week at a place with no sheets on the bed!
Down $200 after 1 night, spending $200 on the room, saving $400 to get home, leaves $200 with no food for a week. Buy that plane ticket now, get one of those all day buffet passes for $50 and eat like a king, take that last $150 and slow play at some bar video poker machine and drink like a mad man. Might as well live it up Vegas style on that last $200.
Stay disciplined and manage your bankroll

You put yourself in a really tough spot to begin with. The cost of transportation and even accommodations is inordinately high compared to your bankroll. It doesn't seem like you went to enjoy the town, so you may have been better served to use the internet or a local. Also it sounds like if or when you have to fly back, airfare would have cost you, $500 or more r/t, which could have been cut in half with better planning. Perhaps there are other return options, like the train.
Also no sheets is ridiculous. I assume no towels too. Not changing them out during your stay is one thing, but not providing them is crappy.
