Parlor Suite at the Wynn

Covers brothers, just wanted to let everyone know that you can book a Parlor Suite at the Wynn over Superbowl weekend for $140/night. I just booked three nights through hotels.com.

So far this deal has only been found on hotels.com and expedia. Great deal on a 1280 sq ft suite that is normall $500-$900 per night. Other dates are available but not all dates.

Thank you for the info. I booked the same room. Just curious, how do you know the Parlor Suites are 1280 s.f.? I researched various sites (including the Wynn site) and could not find that info. Nonetheless, $140 is by far the best value of the hotels on Hotels.com. I&#x27;m a several decade veteran of Vegas, used to stay at the Desert Inn (DI) all the time, now shuttle between the Hard Rock, Green Valley Ranch, Hilton, Planet Hollywood, Bellagio, and Mandalay Bay depending on where the deals are.

I have looked into this extensively. I called the hotel and they said it is on the up and up. I booked a room!&#xD;&#xA;I think unfortunately the deal is now closed!&#xD;&#xA;thanks for the heads up

Just got a phone call from Hotels.com that said that there was a "glitch" in the system regarding these rooms and would I accpet being moved to a Resort Room in exchange for one free night. I said no quite definatively I prefer to stay in the Parlor suite of which the Hotel.com rep seemed a litttle taken a back and said "I will let the Wynn know". I followed up by saying that I may consider two nights comped, she said she would let the Wynn know. Anyone recieved a similiar phone call. What&#x27;s your opiniion on my counteroffer?

Wally: I&#x27;ve been reading over on TripAdvisor that others have received the call as well and received one night comp. I haven&#x27;t got a call yet, and actually spoke with the wynn two nights ago and they confirmed my room and asked what time I would be arriving etc.I will just have to wait and see but I&#x27;m like you. I&#x27;ll be pushing for two nights comped and the third night at the $140 rate. A normal room at the Wynn for $140 is still good especially if you are going over Superbowl weekend.

I got the same phone call today. ROFL. Should have known. I booked 6 of these rooms for me and my buddies. I am unsure how to proceed but have a lawyer friend that I may involve. I am sure not going to take just a one night comp.

These rooms go for 500/night minimum to take a one night comp is comical. I would strongly urge all my covers brothers to stand together and ask for all nights comped. If they here that over and over then I think we have a better shot at getting it.

I, for now, am going to tell them "thank you for the offer but I will be there on the 5th of February with my confirmation in hand and expect to stay in a parlor suite as agreed upon in the confirmation email I present here"

Thaks for the discussion. Finally getting back with an update. I got a call from Hotels.com rep again asking if I had heard from the Wynn. I have not. She said she was only authorized to comp the one night. I am still waiting to hear from the Wynn. I am an attorney, but, have not had time to read thr fine print and look for the always present "seller has the right to approve all final terms regarding this purchase clause". I will let you all know my opinion when I have a chance to look things over. The fact that Twiggy received the positive response of "when are you arriving" is a good sign. Agree that a comped night at $140 and a move to a resort room is a joke as compensation for their mistake. I do not feel the need to take the Wynn to the cleaners on this one and being too greedy in negotiations could potentially backfire. Nonetheless, the Wynn and Hotels.com screwed up, they are major companies that have significant recognized brands they need to protect. The direct revenue from these rooms are really secondary to their neeed to place high rollers in those rooms for SB weekend. Either the pressure to negotiate will mount on the Wynn as bookings start increasing (may depend on which teams make the SB) or not. Either way we all scored a great deal due to Twiggy&#x27;s post.

I have booked 5 rooms through the Wynn for this weekend. I called my family when I saw  the post and then called the hotel and Expedia to confirm things. I had Expdeia record the call in my electronic record that they confirmed this was a legitimate deal and I would get the rooms as booked.&#xD;&#xA;I have been in slow negotiations with the Wynn to either get my rooms (which at this point I doubt) or get better comp than one free night. Just as an FYI some things they have offered others (and I know from reading and discussint this with people on the trip advisor forum)&#xD;&#xA;1. the one free night&#xD;&#xA;2. upgrade to panoramic room&#xD;&#xA;3. check in at the tower section and access to the pool there&#xD;&#xA;4. waived $20 resort fee each day&#xD;&#xA;5.One person has told me tickets to Le Reve but I have only heard this from one person. I have not reason to doubt it, she seems reliable.&#xD;&#xA;I really am upset over this whole thing as I have 5 other couples coming for the game and called them about the deal. I called a lawyer buddy of mine in Vegas and he was not really all tha helpful. I would REALLY LIKE COMP TO THE WYNN SUPERBOWL PARTY!!! Any suggestions you have or could offer would be appreciated. Hey Crash: Thanks for the info. Just curious, do you know what the value of the Wynn SB party is? I have not heard from the Wynn, I am figuring that they are going after low hanging fruit right now to deal ($20 resort fees waived, pool access REALLY). I am thinking of negotiation strategies to maximize value such as switch to resort room on SB weekend to open up Parlor Suites with PS&#x27;s being available comped another non-busy weekend(no sweat off Wynn, those rooms will sit empty. I&#x27;ll pay one weekend, not the other (they get revenue). Absent the "sellers right to define terms clause, we hold the value to negotiate.

The Super Bowl party has no value. I am not even sure they have one. I usually stay at the Palazzo /Venetian and they have one there. It is by invite only and lose as I might last year I could not lose enough. I am sure the Wynn has one also but these are special events for whales and the like. That is what would make it so key.

I really doubt they will invite us.............Only for the big boys. I have been to one in the past at a smaller casino and it was super fun....

They do not call these super bowl parties as the NFL got made on the copyright infringement but there is a good chance they have a party somewhere and the game is on, if you know what I mean.

I actually called them today, as another week passed with no word. They said they will call tomorrow. Just BS. Would love to get another weekend going, that is what I am working on now.

Thanks Crash. Interesting point about the NFL tradename infringement, if I recall correctly it reached the tipping point when the Malooffs starting being very aggressive with "Superbowl" parties when they opened up Palms. I remember walking across the strip from a Superbowl party at the Mirage to the old Sands casino (how is that for dating myself). What ultimately may push the Wynn is their need to comp the whales a parlor suite or better. The revenue from the rooms means relatively nothing to the Wynn in contrast to a the wagering by a whale over SB weekend. i am still waiting to hear from them.

I heard back from the Wynn last Thursday, I have not had a chance to call back. The message said that I had until September 24 to respond to Hotels.com to acknowledge the "glitch" in order to preserve my reservation so that they could move me to a regular room, otherwise the reservation would be cancelled. Huh? WTF. Obviously right hand (Wynn) does not know what left hand is doing (Hotels.com), or, they are playing dumb as a fox--that would be giving them to much credit. I need to read the Hotels.com fine print before calling. I will likely offer them the deal mentioned before, I will agree to move to a regular room for the SB weekend and pay the Horel.com rate as long as the Wynn comps me a PS for the same amount of nights another weekend that we both agree upon. I&#x27;ll call today and update Covers.com as soon as I have something.

Spoke with the Wynn rep Monday. Pitched the comped non-SB weekend PS deal to her and she did not immediately say no, said she would run it before "the powers that be" and I will hear back from them. I&#x27;ll keep you updated ASAP.

Hope everyone enjoyed the SB, win or lose. Curious about what everyone did with these Wynn PSuites. I never heard back from the Wynn on my offer so I showed up SB weekend and they honored the reservartion with a Parlor Suite in the Tower Suites portion of the hotel. GREAT ROOM. 1300 sf. Forbes and Mobil 5 star rating, blah, blah, blah. I have been in some pretty impressive properties (Ritzs, Four Season, St. Regis, etc.), nonetheless, the PS was as good as it gets. Certainly got unbeilevable value at $140 a night. Thanks Twiggy for the info.

Thanks Twiggy for the info. &#xD;&#xA;[/Quote]&#xD;&#xA;&#xD;&#xA;good for you!&#xD;&#xA;we ended up with 5 rooms and I was not just going to show up.&#xD;&#xA;We worked out a deal and got&#xD;&#xA;panoramic view room-very nice&#xD;&#xA;$100 credit&#xD;&#xA;free night&#xD;&#xA;waived resort fee&#xD;&#xA;and tickets to the big game party(which sucked dick)&#xD;&#xA;all in all no complaints-&#xD;&#xA;stayed three nights for about 110/night and got the 100 bucks for free&#xD;&#xA;did I mention the two dimes on the pack?
