Me and buddy are huge Vikings fans, and IF they win this weekend against the Saints, we were going to push back our trip to Vegas to the week after (Presidents day week). Because we were wanting to attend the parade IF they win the whole thing.
So my question is...how is Vegas for a true fan (who also bets on the games) that has a team in the super bowl? Are there huge parties stationed everywhere for "your" team?

the biggie parties are for the casino invited guests and players, casino brings in all their big players for this weekend, fans they could give a damn about, bring lots of money and they might act like they care

You suggest I bring lots of money, and the casino will act like they care about me? Or are you referring to the high rollers they fly in to act like fans?

I agree 100% with front row center. Go to Miami if Vikes win. There will be lots of fans there and it will be crazy. Sure Vegas is a blast, but nothing better then MIAMI BEACH and your team is playing in the Super Bowl. Save Vegas for March Madness.

I agree 100 percent!!!!! Not a better time to be in Vegas than March madness. In Miami, stay at the Chesterfield, rates are great, and it is in the middle of everything. I have stayed there once. I usually stay at the Shore Club, but the rates are pretty high there. Best pool in the world, one big party!!!!

Personally fellas, I like the fact that it's not a 100+ degrees. This way we can walk around in comfort at 65-70 degrees. I'd love to be there during March Madness, but that's why there's betting online right? I'm sure it's crazy, and I've heard alot about it.
We thought about Miami and the game...but we'd end up spending 2k for tickets, and I always thought it was joke about having the SB at a neutral site. Watching the game...there's just a bunch of randoms everywhere with random jerseys. There are some true fans that go to it, but it always seems as if it's just tourists or people that live in the area...maybe i'm getting it confused with the Pro Bowl, but I'd rather watch the game on my 52 inch tv with everything I need next to the couch.

Still haven't booked anything yet...having a buddy call a few places who lives down there to see if he has any comps. He won 20k playing bj one night...so maybe they'd be able to hook us up with some free rooms during the week.
