The QUAD is a Qlunker!

This may be the worst renovation in history. The former Imperial Palace, now "The Quad", is just awful.  The casino is bland and uninspiring.  While it's newer and roomier, one has to wonder:  What were they thinking?

The carpeting is a dismal grey.  While the table games are new, the slot machines are the older ones from the IP and are worn out.  The place is in a good location, but has no class.  The Cosmopolitan it is NOT!

And agreed, the quad aka Imperial Palace is still a dump.

For those of you who don't understand what Mafioso means, he's implying that I'm a 45-cent tipper to the cocktail waitresses while HE leaves the hotel maids five bucks!

I and the staff at every hotel in the world wish I could be more like Mafioso . . . 

So you want to make this thread about a 45-cent tip again? Are you trying to turn this nice Las Vegas site into a circus?  That's on you.  I'm sticking to the subject. Do what you want, it's a free country.

I strongly feel that Harrah's strategy of renovating older properties instead of imploding and starting over will NEVER work.  Think if the Bellagio was incorporated into the older shell of the Dunes structures.  What a nightmare that would be.  But the plans are to go ahead and renovate Bills Casino too.  Even though Bills has a horrible barf smell, one wonders if after these renovations, they will have to be imploded some ten years down the line.

The Desert Inn was supposedly renovated into a swank resort.  Steve Wynn blew it up.  That's what Harrah's should do . . .

Buddy, I'm not the one who's lost. It seems that you have fetish to give other people advice over and over again.  I doubt if I gave you advice, you'd follow it.
