Can anyone school me on who offers the biggest limits on NFL totals at some of the books in Vegas? Thinking about the M and Las Vegas Hilton... Much appreciated.

Your "limit bet" will depend on what you have done first to make yourself "known" to the management of the book.
All "limits" are at the discretion of the manager.....which is why everyone will give you an answer; but none will be totally correct.

Thanks for the feedback, fellas. VegasGourmet, not sure what details you need. I want to get down on some NFL totals this weekend, I'll be in Vegas, and I've heard the books have pukishly low limits. I have other outs normally but thought I might utilize the casinos for their services, a kind of 'when in Rome' experience...

OK.....I'll just try and guess what you want to bet...
At The M, ask for Mike Colbert...tell him that you want to start an account with 100 dimes.....you should have little trouble betting whatever you want to on NFL totals.....
At the Hilton, ask for Jay Kornegay....you should have a players card already so that the HIlton has your info.,....tell him that you would like to bet 3300 on a total...shouldn't be a problem there...might do 5500 for you if you have a host at the HIlton....
Anything less, and most places will take your bets for a fullgame total in the NFL, halftime totals do tend to be less.

Sound.....If you are saying that you have bet $15K on any sports bet WITHOUT a manager coming over and asking for identification then you are either not telling the truth or dealing with a manager who is looking to get fired.
...and, as I have said numerous times....TAX HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS TRANSACTION....it deals with federal laws that concern money laundering. If you buy something for over $10K using cash and not a credit card, you will be asked for the same identification as the sportsbook asks for....
...and, the manager is REQUIRED BY LAW to intercede on any transaction in excess of 5K....ID is not required; but they must intercede....
Feel free to email my friend Jay Kornegay at The Hilton with your info, I'm sure that he will be thrilled to read it.

The difference between a "limit bet" and a bet that asks for identification is not the case here.....The writer (and supervisor) are required, by law, to ask you for identification for any bet over 5K, and you do not have to provide any identification (you may refuse)....UNTIL you get to 10K, then they cannot take your bet unless you provide identification....
I'll take a copy of your posting over to Mike Colbert and get his opinion.....should be interesting

The man behind Cantor Gaming was a senior trader with the parent company, Cantor Fitzgerald.....
Cantor Gaming runs itself very similar to a top Wall St trading house.....the key is volume, not the hold.

For some strange reason, I'm going to say this again...............
$10K has NOTHING to do with TAX; but simply it has to do with money laundering...............
A supervisor has to ask you for your identification for any transaction in excess of $5K...YOU MAY REFUSE TO PROVIDE IDENTITY.
HOWEVER.....and read this slowly because I am uncertain as to your ability to understand the English language.....
YOU MUST PROVIDE IDENTIFICATION FOR ANY CASH TRANSACTION THAT IS $10k OR ABOVE.....
You're at the Rolex store at The Wynn and buy a watch for $15K cash (not credit card)....same "F-ing identification".....
IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH A SPORTSBOOK....IT ONLY HAS TO DO WITH ANY....REPEAT, ANY.....CASH TRANSACTION IN THE UNITED STATES THAT IS IN EXCESS OF $10,000.....
PERIOD....END
You read my post wrong. If the wager exceeds 10k the manger will no question need to approve. That's what I pointed out. I've bet 10k at the Hilton plenty of time without the manger coming over to approve.
IF THE MANAGER DOES NOT WRITE DOWN YOUR INFO ON A CASH TRANSACTION IN EXCESS OF $10k...ONCE AGAIN....YOU ARE LYING.....
ADDITIONALLY....WHAT PAPERWORK????...
......No writer at the Bellagio would care to make a comment such as the one that you quoted....BS.....Two months ago?.....Tell me which writer...describe the writer....I'd be happy to follow that crap up with you......
It's posts like yours that corrupt this website...joke...and, sad.
