Unconventional sleeping arrangement???

Should probably try CouchSurfing.com first, but I thought a covers member may have a connection.  From Ohio, I'd like to make a bimonthly trip out to Vegas.  I'm looking for a home owner, or apartment mate that would be willing to allow me to stay on their couch or spare bed for 3 nights a month.  Ideal location would be within a 15 mile radius of the strip, and I'd pay $20 per night.  Most of my time would be at the MGM Grand, so I'm just looking for a place to sleep for 8 hours,  then back out into the limelight.   Not into alcohol, smoking, or hookers, so aside from the gambling, you'd be getting someone that is pretty vanilla in the other extracirricular activities of Sin City.    Any other ideas or leads to accomplish this?

What are you in town to do?

If you don't have the money to stay at a cheap hotel, what makes you think that you have a good enough bankroll neccessary to actually have a chance to beat the house? Why not just go to your local casino and make enough money to go to Vegas (where you don't have to depend on no one but yourself)  if you are a good gambler (not saying you aren't, I don't know you, but I would hope you are if you are going to Vegas often). I have a friend who's dad lives close to Wheeling and over the last six months or so he has won enough to buy a new car and still is up $7000+, he plays blackjack, starts off with a couple hundred plays for a while as soon as he is up $100, 200 or so he quits and goes home, he doesn't play long enough to give it back, he is retired it is just something to do, he doesn't need the money and could win more if he wanted to.
