First off, sportsbooks are not allowed, by law, to provide anyone with betting information...whatever that may be...over the phone.
If you would like to make correct use of this forum, you need to pose exact questions that we can answer. A "laundry list" of things that you would like to learn will not help you...especially if you have absolutely no idea what it is you are asking about.
Happy to help you...but let's take "baby steps" first...OK?

In my experience, I've enjoyed the book at Mandalay Bay the best. However, my opinion on this comes from wanting a good book to view the games and just party and have fun... not for some of the more technical reasons you list in your inquiry.
Caesar's and MGM are also great! Oh, and if you'd like a good laugh please visit the book at Tropicana. Holy crap I just about died of laughter after asking a casino employee where the book was. It's literally a 30-person room, chalkboard with today's lines, and about eight 20" 1995 tvs. Helarious after spending the day in Mandalay's book.

Tropicana is owned by one of the cheapest biggest a-hole of a preson would ever meet. I used to work at a hotel that he owned that was in his non-casino division. Google the name Columbia Sussex and see if you can find the article(s) about their purchase of the Tropicana and then losing the New Jersey one to the state due to the union. I was surprised that Bill Yeung (the owner) did not end up swimming with the fishies if you know what I mean

The new Trop book is gonna be run by Cantor Gaming.....the technology/gaming division of Cantor Fitzgerald.
They run The M, handle the ingame betting at The Venetian and The Pallazzo, gonna run the Hard Rock and the new Cosmopolitan. Before opening The M, they bought LVSC..Las Vegas Sports Consultants..the company that sends out the opening line recommendations.
They are the future (and the current) of sportsbook betting in Las Vegas.
