First of all, no illusions of grandeur here, I play some .25 VP when I am in Vegas and some low stakes BJ and Craps. If I lose 2K in a trip, that would be catastrophic and I usually can come home down near even with a small chase system.
For this reason, the casinos know I am not a big fish. I do go 3-4x/ year and try to concentrate my play at Caesars for some low end comps from time to time.
I recently got a comp offer for Ballys on the first weekend in November. I get very few weekend comps and although it is at the armpit of the strip hotel, in the low end room, I went online to book.
The free room for 2 nights with resort fee and tax was $110 dollars!
It would be almost funny if it was not true of the way Vegas has gone.
For another $150 for the weekend, I could stay at a much nicer property, what are your thoughts.
This would be a boys trip as I would not subject my wife to Ballys 10 years ago and I am sure it is much worse now.
