Warren should be very happy Big John stopped that. That knee bar was deep and tight and Joe was doing nothing to defend. Had it not been stopped, Warren wouldn't be training/walking right until after surgery. Galvao hadn't even started to apply hip pressure forward, which could've ruined his night.
Davis and Tokoro was worth the price of admission. Great fight.

Great card last night. Back later with UFC leans, picks for next week. That was crazy how WSOF handled that entire situation. OTOH, Holder looked good and took some nasty shots from Silva.

These are all the angles I'm looking at (it's every single fight on the card):
Lamas +350, Lamas by decision +630, fight goes to decision -120 There's a lot of Mendes love on the interwebs, but I think Lamas has a bit of a pure kickboxing and speed edge here. I think they're both good wrestlers with great guillotine chokes so we don't see a lot of ground work in this one. If Chad is able to wall grind, that's the best chance of winning IMO.
Masvidal -135 over Iaquinta Jorge has always been very underrated and is very tricky. He's extremely solid everywhere and I think he grinds out a decision or subs him.
Chiesa Inside distance +140, Chiesa by sub +160, fight doesn't go to distance -110 Just based on those lines, the last one has to be the most appealing. This has the potential to be a great grappling battle, I can't wait.
Pena ITD +175, Pena by sub +350, fight doesn't go to distance +120 Odd lines. On paper, Pena should be able to take her down, mount her, open her up with punches, and finish her with a sub or punches. Pretty easily.
Guida by decision +110, Guida by sub +375 It's between one of those 2, but probably a small one on the sub. Robbie is not that great and Clay has something to prove. Since his win against Pettis, he's went from fan favorite to a punch line. Why? He's been lined up with spectacular grapplers (Bendo, Gray, Hioki, Mendes, Kawajiri, Bermudez). This is a much better fight for him.
Poirier over Ferreira -185, Poirier ITD +165 At the end of the day, Dustin has still only lost to top 5 guys - McGregor, Swanson, Korean Zombie. I don't think CDF is there yet. I think this fight is just to get dustin back on the train.
Murphy -105 over Carmouche Hardest fight to call because I don't care.
Yakovlev -125 over Maynard, Yakovlev ITD +190, Yakovlev by TKO +300 Lots of these old guard fighters are clinging to life and some are getting embarrassed by newbs. I hope I'm wrong but I bet I'm not.
Shamil ITD +120 Timmay I probably won't be playing this, tbh. Lately, I've just been assuming that hard hitting sluggers that are better than their opponents will eventually wear them down and finish. That's what should happen here, but I want to see these guys debut first.
Jones -130 over Stallings, jones ITD +150, fight won't start round 3 -125 Both these guys were late replacement fill-ins vs promising fighters in their debuts (Uriah hall and corey Anderson) and both performed pretty well. I was more impressed with Jones and think he wins a mainly stand-up fight here.
Just to note, I have nearly every fight not going to the scorecards. Also, the only true dog i like is in the main event.

Pretty solid analysis for most fights. Going with Iaquinta and Mendes though. Not playing Mendes SU though, will most likely include him in a parlay with Guida and Chiesa. Mendes should have a wrestling advantage, although it won't be as sizable as he usually has against most of his opponents. Lamas is a little better with his combos and might be a bit faster, but Mendes has more power. Lamas has been KO'd before and I think Mendes can catch him.

Is it me or is this card funky??? No crazy line moves, a few pick em fights, not much chatter on here. Looks like a bunch of soft plays from me!!!
It seems like a lot of punters get tired this time of year due to March Madness. Plus, this is a pretty weak card. I'll watch a fight between 2 drunk idiots in my local kmart parking lot, but most people want a bit more at stake.

With Lamas, I just think the chances of him winning are higher than the odds suggest. If he was +150 or so, I'd pass for sure.
