Kimbo is a 'Can'...was going to load up on Meathead but I think the UFC has a lot of money invested in Kimbo....not sure what his contract is but I would like to know what he is getting for the fight before I lay action. Anyone know his show amount and he has a win bonus for this fight?

Right, because NO "inside" information ever comes out. You purport to be an industry insider, why don't you know?
And your position is patently false anyway, for instance when my former business partner managed the Thiagos, Alves and Silva, that information was openly discussed and made available to our contacts.

I couldn't believe the line opened at +160 for Mittrione. I got a bunch on him there and added to him at +135. I still think he has good value at -115.

What he is getting paid is much less relevant than the fact that Kimbo is one of the UFC's biggest PPV draws.
That fact alone indicates that the UFC will pull out all of the stops to get Kimbo the win (i.e. a favourable matchup with a non-grappler, biased judges etc.) and should make anyone thinking of backing Mitrione think again. The UFC are too shrewd to flush future revenue down the toilet imo.
However, if you are backing Matt then good luck to you

Did the UFC want BJ to lose to Edgar? Just asking.

unless matt bet against himself, i think there is no way a conspiracy can happen simply because i dont think this will go to the judges.. matt will finish him or break kimbos small legs.

How can Kimbo be the UFC's biggest PPV draw when this is his first PPV event and most likely his last? I think the intrigue of Kimbo is over and no one is really interested in this side show!!

I agree jthollywood, Dana and the UFC was doing just fine without Kimbo. Now, they've made a few bucks by being able to boost ratings for the season of TUF that featured Kimbo and they don't give a shit what happens to him anymore. If he wins, they can promote him a little bit more, but we all know, the UFC will go on with or without Kimbo. I think Mitrione wins and Kimbo gets cut loose from the UFC and shows up on Dancing with Stars or Apprentice

If anything Kimbo is bad for the UFC and MMA. Just look at the taylor made match-up he had with Houston Alexander. It was boring, show cased zero skill and left the average MMA fan disappointed. I hope he gets knocked out quick so we never have to see him again.
