Roy Nelson vs. Frank Mir

Anybody else thinking this line is way to close (Mir -125 amd Nelson -105 on BETUS)...I respect the fact that Nelson is tough guy and former IFL champ or whatnot, but to me Frank Mir could likely hang with most of the top ten heavyweights in MMA.  If he comes in with any kind of motivation to make another title run, I think Mir should handle him quite easily.  Put small parlay on Andre Ward, Rampage, and Frank Mir just for the fun of it.

I feel Mir is at a disadvantage if he tries to stand and bang with Nelson(I certainly don't think he'll come close to doing as well as Dos Santos did) and I really don't think he has an advantage on the ground at all.

I think this line is spot on. I am playing Roy...

Nelson always brings his best game to the fight.. Mir on the other hand, well, you just never know...

Agreed. I think Roy takes this fight. Mir looked at his worst in his last fight and I have begun to question his desire to fight. I believe he's doing it for the paycheck at this point. He has no chance at becoming the champion again and I do believe he knows it.

Everyone has been knocking out Cro Cop lately.  Mir vs.Cro Cop fight was awful.  Cro Cop pretty much ducked right into Frank's knee and went out cold.  Mir's striking is nowhere near as good as he thinks it is. I see Mir having a lot of trouble in this fight.  Big Country FTW

LOL.. That pit-pat patty cake fight will go donw as one of the worst main events in UFC history....
