Does anyone have any opinions on him this weekend 7/14?He is going off at -126 vs. Zak Ottow.I follow Sage. I have no idea who his opponent is.

Zak Ottow is a Bjj blackbelt and has 10 submission wins. His standup is mostly low output and sage can use his karate style effectively against him. The main question is can Northcutt stop the takedowns because he has shown to be pretty green on the mat. It&#x2019;s also worth noting that sage is moving up to welterweight for this fight.

Thank you. From the sound of that I actually like Zak &#x2B;money.Will have to mull it over more.But good info. I want to back Sage but as you said his ground game is just dreadful.

Fair to expect a speed advantage for Northcutt and a power advantage for Ottow. Also, Zak wrestled in high school, played college football, and his Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu should give him the edge in any grappling exchanges and especially if the fight goes to the ground.

This kid is starting to look like a real contender. I really like the improvements I saw over the weekend. Crazy to think he is saying his future is at HW. His fast twitch muscles are off the chart, a little quirky but super athletic
