Alright, my bad, I saw your thread on weidman.

But previous to this, your M.O. seems to be popping up out nowhere to back a heavily favoured champion. If you want to pop up and say Jones at -800 is a lock against Gus, post your plays regularly.

the public got clowned again...most don't have a clue how to bet UFC/MMA..

Instant Karma got you, Silva.

You felt the pain of all of you victims x50.

That pain you felt while you were screaming like a girl was ALL of the pain and suffering that YOU inflicted on your ring victims and all the disrespect you showed towards many, many of them of many different levels.

I can't imagine Silva coming back but a time table has been revealed and they are saying that he'll need 3-6 months of recovery time.

As for the public/line move...the public = more PEOPLE...line moves means more MONEY. Just because the line moved doesn't mean the public was on that side. A thousand $100 bets on Weidman won't move the line like fifty $50,000 on Silva would. I don't personally know who the "public" was on but the line movement determining who they were on is FAR from accurate.

I watched this fight with a bunch of Silva fans and I saw the first fight with them as well. They called the first fight a fluke because of how Silva acted, completely throwing out the fact that he does that to EVERYONE and they refuse to give him credit for winning the first round of that first fight. They also refused to give them credit for the first round last night because Silva "looked calm" and Weidman finished the round bleeding, completely throwing out the fact that he rocked him, made him go limp, pounded the garbage out of him on the ground, and was 1/1 on takedowns.

Also...I understand that's a controversial way to end a fight...but checking kicks isn't an accident. As Weidman said, he was working on that. I won't go out there and say that he "deserved" to win last night by the way it ended, but he did dominate the fight and anyone who doesn't give him credit is just hating on him because they're too far up Silva's behind and can't fathom some guy whose win leading up to the first fight was Mark Munoz. It sucks that Weidman will never get credit. I feel like a win over Belfort won't even get people to believe in this guy unless it's a first round knockout in Brazil or something. This dude DESERVES credit and people need to throw the excuses out the window.

It was not just the big money swing that moved the line from big single bettors(although late it did) it was the squares like you watched the fight with sparkey that were all over SILVA moving the line slowly but steadily up for days and weeks prior to fight at lower limits too.

Poll after poll online at all mma sites and youtube and so on, had silva being the public choice clearly.

I know what your saying about % of bigbets overshadowing small, does not always give you a clear picture of overall public op. but for this fight they BOTH were all over silva (i watched the line moves religously for the last 2 month and esp. the last day prob. 200 times) and it was clear as day from the combination OF money and %%% this was an mma blood bath that OVERALL PUBLIC got bathed in.

Now they supposedly have some audio of Weidman's corner saying " "F#ckhim..good" after Silva breaks his leg.....I say SO WHAT!!
garbage gets heated. these guys are in there to do bodily harm to each other. this isn’t friendly competition…..it’s mortal combat. broken bones and hurt feelings are the name of the game. bad muthafuckas only need apply. Silva done his share of face arranging. Just ask Rich Franklin.

anyone who says that the silva line movement was "public" does not know what they are talking about.

a person like floyd mayweather, whose known to wager 1mm on a single play, can himself move a line equivalent to that of 10,000 $100.00 players. also, hes going to stagger his bets to get the best possible pricing

so unless someone specifically knows that a person like floyd did not make a large play on silva and that this movement was specifically all done by $100 public bettors then its impossible to determine who and where the money came from

and even if it where a guy like floyd that moved the line who is to determine if mayweather is a sharp or a square? as when it comes to gambling the only way to determine if hes a sharp or square is if he is winning more than he is losing and there is no way for anyone here, other than floyds accountant, to know the answer to that question
