Brock definitely has the advantage on the ground, but not because of His BJJ. More like his advantage in sheer power and wrestling.

I don't recall Brock ever displaying any type of BJJ, so if 2 people don't even use one disclipline, then how does one guy have an advantage in it?

I think that was why people were being harsh on your statement.

yep. thats the difference between division 1 and d 2. that is why that have divisions. Funny how EVERYONE on here was callin me names and saying this and that. I dont no mma, I better stick to my day job....blah blah fucking blah. pussys to wet to man up that you didnt have a fucking clue what you were talking bout. Brock actually never got hurt in the fight. He said the left hook stunned him but even while on the ground blocking 90% of shanes punches he said he never got hurt. No what that means....all of u box mfs that said hes got a glass chin can suck small china man dick. ha. Better yet stick to ur fucking dayjobs. wimps

Holy shit dude!!!  Have you ever won a bet in your entire life, cuz you sure are acting like this was your first win.   Read my post, I said I highly doubted BJJ would factor in but if it did I didn't like my chances with Carwin.  But you need to realize how close this fight was to being stopped.  Carwin was beating the shit out of Brock.  Lesnar was literally running away from Carwin when they were standing.  Brock won because Shane got tired from pummeling him.

I just noticed my thread got bumped.  No kidding... seems like this is the first bet he has won. Ill give credit, Brock one but come on man, he got owned in the first round 10-8 and the fight in all honesty could of easily gottent stopped, brock said that himself... Dont act like Brock dominated the fight from start to finish...

No kidding... I had a little chunk riding on Brock and I was sweating bullets the entire first round.  I had all but written off the loss and thought for sure it was getting stopped.  But we know the UFC is gonna protect their poster boys, at least to the best of their extent (DW probably tells the refs to let it go on as long as possible if Brocks in trouble).  Looks like the only way to officially beat Brock is to KO his ass cold.  If that were Mir in there against Brock again, it most likely would have been called in the 1st.
