Sterling -110 (My biggest bet since Gaethje over Ferguson)
I've bet Sandhagen in all 5 fights he's has in the UFC so far, but I like aljo to beat him. Since the headkick KO loss to Moraes, Aljo hasn't lost a round. He won all 3 against undefeated Brett Johns, then won 1st vs Stamann and subbed him in 2nd, then shut out two top ten fighters in Rivera and Munhoz. Love Sandhagen but his path here has not been as tough. Arnett is not in the UFC anymore, Alcantara is 39 and hasn't fought since, Bautista has two nice wins since, but it was his debut, Lineker fight could've gone either way, and then he beat Assuncao which was his most impressive win. I think Aljo's speed and wrestling will win this pretty convincingly.

I don't think so Papa Cory Sandhagen is basically a beast sand bags in the hand Carrying Sand in the hand Hagen I would not bet big on Sterling. He will not be ready for this dog fight. Sterling is all Jazz I like Corey Very Large, but not as large as I did yesterday.
I guess that's the beauty of fighting, we never really know, but Aljo clearly has more ways to win this fight. Good luck to Cory trying to defend the takedown.

Slight lean for me on Aljo... but its so close I can't even say that... I really couldn't pick this fight if you paid me to do it. We'll see whats up with the weigh ins amigo.. Take em down tomorrow. I'm really superstitious about my bets , and u don't want to know how deep that actually goes because its sick.. I got a feeling on Pitolo... I think the fight is really 50/50.. and we get decent odds on Pitolo.. Byrd was scared when Stewart came after him running for his life... I wouldn't bet on a fighter like that, but maybe its a fade. Pitolo could go after him in the same fashion.. But like i said .. I am at bay at this one also until the weigh ins, and I don't like this card for bets so far.

Get em Shango .. You're the goat doc.

Ok now I'm tempted to agree with you here for sure.. Although on a side note.. I believe you got very lucky in that Ferguson fight , because Tony didn't show up to fight at all, and was more of a fluke.. but regardless that is said and done.

I hope you realize how ridiculous that sounds. "Tony didn't show up" is the worst excuse you can ever have in fighting. No, he didn't just not show up. Gaethje's strengths just play to Ferguson's weaknesses. That Gaethje would beat any Ferguson 9 out of 10 times. That Gaethje would've gotten Poirier and Alvarez out and he'd still be undefeated. Tony is an aging 36 year old fighter, who stupidly cut weight 3 weeks before the fight. I said all of the reasons why Gaethje would win and he dominated every single round. That was no fluke. And if you think fights like that are flukes, you will lose a lot of money in the long term. Gaethje was way faster, threw harder punches, and is a better wrestler. The only shot Ferguson had was to get some fluky sub and it wasn't going to happen. If that Gaethje shows up vs Khabib, we have a new lightweight champion. I already have a massive bet on Gaethje +275 vs Khabib.

was listening to josh thomson and big john's pod about that fight. a lot of the blame sounds like it was on the coaching. it almost sounds like they walked in expecting to have ferguson cake walk this fight. they weren't prepared and by the fifth, they had eddie bravo as the lead in ferguson's corner. eddie had publicly said on rogan how he never ever wanted to be the lead corner and they forced him in there for quite possibly the most important round of ferguson's career.
No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing

Josh Thompson couldn't pick a winner if his life depended on it. He said Gaethje had no chance before the fight. It's very hard for a former or current fighter to handicap fights, especially in their own division. Ferguson beat the shit out of Thompson, so obviously Thompson would be bias towards Ferguson and make any excuse in the book for why Ferguson lost instead of why Gaethje won. Corner advice was meaningless in that fight. Gaethje beat the living shitt out of Ferguson for 4 rounds and then finished in the 5th. And get the fuckk out of here with most important round of his career. It was well over before the 5th. Insane people can't give Gaethje credit that he's just a younger in his prime, better fighter.
