I see this on other forums so I figured I'd try it on this one. Comments on judging, who you think is winning the fight, etc.

First fight of the night is Eddie Gordon vs Chris Dempsy. Got Gordon in this one on two parlays, Gordon/Brando and Gordon/Brando/Means.

Surprised to see Gordon as such a high favorite, glad I grabbed him on my parlays early in the week

Good idea. We've had that going here before but not for quite sometime. I can't watch live tonight but let's start it up each event

yeah, seemed like a good idea

I got Gordon winning round 1, stuffed all of Dempsy's takedown attempts and won most of the standing exchanges

Close round 2, both fighters got a takedowns, although Dempsy might have stolen the round with that last takedown. Dempsy more aggressive. I'd give Dempsy the 2nd. Gordon looks to be gassing out.

Another close round. Gordon did a good job of stopping Dempsey's takedowns, although Dempsey landed a takedown at the end. Gordon also took Dempsey down twice. I'd give it to Gordon, although it could have gone either way.

Chris Dempsy by split decision. Interesting decision.

Next fight is Diego Brando vs Jimy Hetts.

Hettes with an early takedown, gets up early. Brando gets a takedown and works Hetts' back, tries for a RNC and and arm triangle, but Hetts' back to his feet. Brando with another takedown, and lands a nice elbow before a reversal by Hetts into full mount, Brando gets out by trying a heel hook. Brando should have round 1.

Hetts' top half of his ear is pretty much hanging off, so I can see why the doctor stopped the fight.

eh, I can see why two refs would give it to Dempsy. First round was all Gordon, 2nd and 3rd was close, I thought Gordon should have scored for stopping all the takedowns, but Dempsy did end up on top in the end of both rounds as well, probably stole the rounds.

A lot of feeling out early, Means with some good elbows. Sullivan stuffs a take down but gets pushed up against the fence. Means reverses the position and lands some more nice elbows on the break. Means starting to find his range, darting in and out and landing some strikes before getting out of the way. Nice spinning elbow by Means to close the round. Means Rd 1 for me. Stuffed the takedown and got the better on the striking exchanges.

Means controlling the center of the Octogon very well. Means starting to land to the body. Means starting to rock Sullivan. Sullivan shoots for a takedown, Means with a reversal and ends up in half guard. Sullivan back up to his feet, Means lands a nice elbow and knee off of the break. Sullivan lands a nice combo, but Means retaliates and pushes him back to the cage. Nice elbow by Means lands and drops Sullivan. Means with some strikes from the top position but Sullivan survives until the end of the round. Round 2 goes to Means. Sullivan looking frustrated at the end of the last round.

More of the same to open round 3, Means controlling the middle, darting out of the way of Sullivan's strikes and coming back in to land his own. Means with a nice trip and ends up in side control. Means not doing much from the top, not trying to pass really. Sullivan trying to escape, but Means thwarts his attempts. Means locks in an arm triangle and gets the tap.

Means by submission. Good showing from him.

nice play-by-play analysis, thanks for doing this. glad to see that we see eye-to-eye on the way the fights have been going thus far. I felt that Gordon should've edged out the 29-28 decision there but I don't feel that it was necessarily a robbery either. BOL on the rest of the card!

Sterling vs Mizugaki next. Classic up and comer vs established vet match up. Need Sterling to close out my parlay with Means, also got him in a parlay with Sterling/Anderson/OSP and Sterling/Anderson/OSP/Daruish

Didn't catch the 1st round. Sterling with the takedown early in the 2nd, but Mizugaki gets back to his feet. Mizugaki stuffs a takedown, but Sterling eventually lands another. Mizugaki back to his feet against the fence, but Sterling takes him down again and gets his back. Sterling looking for the RNC, but Mizugaki defending well. Round ends in the same position, with Sterling on Mizugaki's back working for a choke. Round 2 goes to Sterling. From what I'm reading on twitter, round 1 was Sterling's as well.

Sterling tries for a takedown that Mizugaki stuffs. Sterling goes for another one and gets it. Gets back mount again and is working for the choke again. Mizugaki reverses and gets into Sterling's full guard, but Sterling had an arm triangle from the bottom. Sterling is strong enough to close the choke and finish.

Beautiful sub by Sterling, rarely do you see an arm triangle choke from the bottom in the UFC. Sterling looked good, but needs to work on his striking.

Next up we have Anderson vs Villante. Need Anderson for my parlay with Sterling/Anderson/OSP, Anderson/OSP/Daruish, and Sterling/Anderson/OSP/Daruish. I'm headed to a BBQ, so I won't be doing play by play for the next few fights. Best of luck to everyone tonight.
