Wow pretty brave laying 12.5 unit on a very green fighter with only 4 fights vs an undefeated fighter 7-0! At least Olivier have the size advantage.....gl.

Giga, you crack me up sometimes!!!
They are both undefeated! Only one of them is openly called the next "GSP" and the gym's top prospect (ahead of Rory!), and it is not Laprise...

sorry i meant in the division ... not in all of the UFC
170 is such a grapple heavy weight class that Laprise's standup, from a boxing perspective, may be considered strong for the division. Like I said above, I don't really think he will have any success in the UFC, but I guess we will find out tomorrow.

I have no lean on this match-up after weight in. I was going to bet semi heavy on Laprise since he does competing in the 170 lbs division while Olivier compete in the 155 lbs division. I also recall Olivier is a part time fighter while not sure is Laprise is full time or part time. I did see Laprise in Sam Stout corner once or twice, seems Laprise is around ufc veteran so I like him a lot. I was going to pull the trigger on Laprise at weigh-in but to my surprise Olivier is actual at least 1' bigger. It seems that the mass is leaning toward Olivier as well. I am just surprise that is your most confidence bet in this card that's all. gl
