We have not see Refer in here in quite awhile now. His knowledge and insight is definitely missed...
However, there are some other great cappers in here (like myself, Crow, Hoff, Doc, Moneyshot, etc (no offence to any of the other regulars that I am forgetting to name)) who are consistently on the plus side on most cards.

Hello gentleman.....I'm still here and have been keeping up with the readings in the forum.........I took a little posting hiatus after a couple of the "johnny come lately" dickheads started emailing me at one of the MMA Mags I write for taking my covers posts and my professional writings and somewhat mixing them. As many of you know I frequently posted untelevised undercard fight commentary while covering events professionally and just didn't make sense to continue once that started happening. Actually looks like the forum has cleaned itself out a little bit as usually happens and most of those folks aren't around. I'll make it a point to get in here more frequently and share some insights and analysis on some of the upcoming events.
Lastly there frankly haven't been many events that have got me real excited over the past few months either......frankly it has just been boring and very uncreative matchmaking on Joe Silva and the UFC's part. I AM THE FURTHEST THING from a conspiracy theorist but I do feel that the UFC has recently protected many of their champions and tried to keep marque names with the belts. As many of you know PPV buys have been steadily declining and ticket sales have been terrible......(those of you that don't realize while the UFC keeps calling events sellout's that's because they have shrunk the venues and aren't selling entire arena's such as MGM and Mandalay Bay as they have started hanging a curtain to cover roughly 1/5 of the arena and cut down on available seats.
All right.....well enough of that, you got me back and there are a number of pretty good events coming up..........let's have some good discussion and analysis.
AND LASTLY I couldn't agree more with MR219's post there are definetly some knowledgeable posters and folks with outstanding insight in here, take advantage of it and use it....you will be ahead in the $$$ for doing so.........

Hey Refer,
Good to see you back!
I agree with your comment on attendance at UFC events. I was in Vegas to see UFC 106 in November and there were a lot of empty seats (especially in the $1,000 price range). I also heard that they comped a whole bunch of tickets to that event!
I am looking forward to this weekend's event, but I am going to have to watch it later in the week, as I am at the olympics in Vancouver taking in all of the action!!!
