Hendricks has fought ten rounds in the last four months. He will be out until August at least.

I think they need to make Lombard vs. Woodley. Both guys did not sustain damage last night. They could fight on the June show.

Rory just fought a three round war and will probably fight on the July 4th card. Nick Diaz and him would be entertaining.

Jake vs. Tarec winner is in real good shape. Matt Brown is a wild card as well.

Theres a lot of possibilities, I would like to see an immediate rematch with Lawler. If that does not happen, maybe they should have an eight-man tournament with the winner getting a title shot. These could be some of the fighters.

I think Woodley will get the next shot against Hendricks. Diaz will fight Lawler &amp; Lombard will match up with Rory. If Diaz can win he will def get title shot after Woodley. Like it or not he is by far biggest draw, but even Dana knows he needs a win to get a shot at title.

I don&#39;t think MacDonald&#39;s really deserves a title shot after beating Maia. They both were coming off of losses. If he beat someone like Woodley, Condit, Lawler, Diaz, etc. But knowing the UFC, they will most likely give the shot to MacDonald.

I think it&#39;s gonna be Woodley. Then Rory. Id say Rory should fight Lombard next but that&#39;s a super tough fight. I think Dana wants to keep Rory lined up to fight for the title after 1 more fight and have a hunch he will give Rory a softer touch than Lombard to keep him near top of line without a serious roadblock in his way. Problem is there really aren&#39;t many soft touches in the div. He&#39;s already beaten Ellenberger and Maia. Maybe a fight with Korean Zombie?  Hell maybe a rematch with Lawler is in order?As far as Lombard goes. I really question his stamina. His a wrecking ball early and just gasses so badly. How bout Rory vs Matt Brown?  Browns name is hot right now but I definitely think Rory meets him and could then fight the Hendricks-TWood winner. I think Dana most prefers Hendricks-Rory next but believes Hendricks-Woodley is an easier sell at moment.

I&#39;m not hating on Rory, but I don&#39;t think he deserves a title shot yet. If he gets passed one of the guys I mentioned, then he does deserve it. But the UFC is notorious for giving people undeserved title shots. UFC really wants Rory as the new poster boy now that GSP is gone. And when GSP comes back I&#39;m sure he will get an immediate title shot. I think they want to eventually match him up with Rory.

woodley won on a injury and beat a koscheck coming off a ko loss

hector beat shields and nate coming off a ko loss to ellengberger

rory lost a competitive fight to lawler and decisively beat ellenberger and maia who were coming of a ko win and competitive five round split decision loss

rory has the best recent uncompromised wins and competition second only to a hendricks rematch with lawler which johhny doesnt want nor deserve.

big rigg doesnt want anything to do with lawler again just the same that jones doesnt want anything to do with gus.
