kampmann is getting a great number here....  shields is only better than kampmann at wrestling and kampmann isnt a slouch there....  he might very well grind him out for 3 rounds if martin cant stay off his back but i think kampmann is a live dog in this fight

I love Kampmann&#x27;s fighting style, really like the way he fights.That being said, I think Shields will take him down at will and man-hump his way to a boring decision.  I see this playing out a lot like the most recent Fitch/Alves fight.Hate to say it, but I think Kampmann gets lay and prayed to death.  Shields is a top 3 wrestler in all of MMA.  Kampman is a decent wrestler, but no-where near the level of shields.  I think Shields wins via easy decision, esp b/c Kampman has yet to really show consistent KO power.  Kampanns best shot it a sub off his back but that seems unlikely....Good luck man

respect all opinions bro and like i said he could grind it out....  i just think kampmann has more outlets to win if he can stay off his back he is the better striker and sub fighter.....  i just dont think the odds should be so big

This is one of those lines based on "They didn't bring him in here to lose"

Jake is a really great fighter, but this line should be closer as Kampmann is no slouch by any means, so the value is definitely there.

And... Kampmann's only losses are via some form of strikes.

Kampmann wins this fight. Mabey the most underrated fighter in the UFC right now. It wasn&#x27;t that long ago he was contending at 185.  This is a real tough fight for Shields. And at 2-1 its a no brainer.
