I can’t play the Nats for 9 even with Strasburg on the mound, but 5 innings is one crack of the bat and that is a very real possibility. The guy is going to give you his best shot. He is not trash or a POS regardless of whether that works out or not. Neither is Verlander. One evening of respectable maturity in this forum would be nice.

If anything on the board shows a huge lack of baseball mentality it has to be the “he is only one guy on the team” attitude. Complete ignorance of the game. Get away (run) from any poster that thinks the starting pitcher is 1/9^th of the team they put out there.

Verlander gets hit early usually. I like this pick but I'd take Astros and the Over for the full game.

Good luck to your play Man....my honest humble opinion is not making a play tonight.  Too much juice on Houston and betting against Verlander,  in this spot, is hard to wrap my head around.  If there is ever a guy to be money in my generation, it's JV.  Too bad Mad Max couldn't go out for game 5. He left all the pressure on Washington and the momentum is all for Houston.
