I'm going to throw out my value preferences and bet on a good situational spot I see in the line-ups. Peavy is on the decline and even though he has a low ERA in June, he's 0-3 and his advanced numbers are showing a much steeper descent. He gives up more fly balls than ground balls and that could be problematic against a Yankee team that is seeing the ball well with the wind blowing out to the short porch in right at 8mph. The crux of this bet is Kuroda's splits numbers. He's actually an elite pitcher against righties ranked #30 in my power rankings. The White Sox are a right-handed heavy line-up (7 out of their 9 starters today). I like Kuroda to shut down the White Sox and Peavy's month of June to remain win-less. No value with this bet as it is, but looking at the line-ups I think the Yankees have more an advantage than even my numbers indicate.
