That is exactly the point.. yesterday you had to hit the ball to center/left to get it out easily

today with it blowing out to center directly, even balls to right are going to fly out

ground balls still remain on the ground and strikeouts still don't carry anywhere. Not to mention that pitches break much sharper when thrown into the wind. I like my under thank you very much.

There were SEVERAL 13+ Wrigley Field totals in July of 1999...... There was a total of 15 for Cubs/Pirates on 9/26/1999... final score was 8-4.

Also total of 15 on 5/11/00.. went over easily at 14-8.

I think this one sneaks under today, only because those two SP's yesterday were Flyball pitchers, not so much so today.

I think it will be close though

if you like a side this is a great game to play cubs rl or dbacks ml both at + money - as the amount of runs scored increases the chance of a one run final decrease.

im playing the cubs rl as wells is pretty good at inducing the ground ball

Live betting has the o/u adjusted to 11 now ... I took under 14.5 to start, might try and hit a middle somewhere .. if i can get over 9.5

I don't think someone who hasn't won with a dog in their has any right to talk about squares and sharps.

When the Rockies were playing their games at Mile High Stadium, I remember totals hitting 16... and games finishing 14-13. Plus, Wrigley used to be notorious for high scoring games in the late 70's and early 80's when the wind was blowing out - not sure why that changed (they might have built some buildings around the park that helped slow down the wind?).

I originally took the over 14.5 for $192 to win $200, but I decided to play it safe and just took in play under 14.5 at +250 for $80 which pays $200.

I`m either a winner, or I get me money back.  Hurray for in-play betting!

Lets not all pile on Sydiggs for coming in here and declaring that the under was a "sharp" play after three innings.  As stated in other threads he will show his "sharp" betting prowess by parlaying several big favorites.
