The total opened at 8 and has stuck so are you buying a half run? There are good reasons it may not even make 8. Cool, possibly rainy weather. Wind across from right to left, good for lefty starters. Carapazza is a homie and under umpire. Price is impossible to deny but if he favors Lyons that will crimp the Tigers offense a little too. Lots of negatives here but it ain't my play so BOL

Carbon sports had 7.5 along with plenty of other places so no I didn't buy half a point. Price isn't 100% and good chance game gets delayed mid way and starters don't come back out.

1-1 on the day up tiny with the dog winner...

Ian Kennedy is a pretty solid pitcher, but last year with the Pads he pitched ever so slightly worse at home(somewhow), slightly worse during the day, and slightly worse vs righties(of which the nats have many and their lefties are on fire anyway).  

Strausburg has been downright ugly thus far. Yet the Nats are a healthy favorite on the road vs an above average pitcher.  I called zimmerman throwing a gem vs this pads team on Friday and I believe Strasburg turns in his best game of the year tomorrow.  

Take the best line you can get tomorrow on Nats ML

2-1 overall now.

It's like Dan haren hypnotized the entire forum into thinking he's a good pitcher and the Marlins aren't a mess. Haren is old and bad. Other than the Dodgers, every team he has pitched against was one of the worst offenses in the league at the time he played them. He has a 240 babip and 83% strand rate. He's playing for a team he doesn't want to play for. Marlins are an absolute mess and don't even know who their manager is yet. In summary, Dan haren is bad, very bad and the dbacks have seen plenty of him over the years. If you lay juice in this spot you need your head checked.

Dbacks just got swept by the Phillies. Embarrassing. I expect a much better series out of them. Marlins haven't seen rubby and he's been really strong vs righties this year.

Johnny Cueto at plus money, sign me up.....for the royals

This game is a no brainer to me, but then again its baseball and anything can and will happen.  Johnny Cueto is an amazing pitcher, no doubt about that, but he is also human and happens to have some average starts time to time.  Cueto is most comfortable pitching at home during the day vs teams that K a lot.  He has none of that going for him here.  The royals don't care who is pitching, they get to everyone.  

Ventura has been anything but good this year.  Things have finally quieted down for him though after seemingly being in the headlines every 5 days for everything but his pitching.  Now he finally gets to come back home for the firs time in a month and pitch vs a team that has never seen him.  I like his chances of throwing a great game tonight.  He pitched very well last year vs teams that hadn't seen him as well as pitching quality starts in all inter league games

Then we have the bullpens.  First vs worst.  No comparison.

Reds are great on base and lead the league in stolen bases.  Ventura gave up 1 last year and sal perez is the hardest catcher in the league to steal on so far this year.  

They could have made Cincy a small favorite in this game and got the same action on it.  Everyone would still be on Cincy because how can you pass up Cueto at plus money...so much value right?. Yet they didn't.
