Besides losing to the Braves on the last day, the Mets have been on a tear since the All Star break - they look like a team of destiny. Do they end it tonight? Or did Winker screw it up by pissing Adames and the Brewers off running his mouth?
The Braves fought through adversity all year. All the injuries - but still finding a way to get in. Although Fried has been so up and down, he has revenge against the Padres. His “splits” are better on the road/night than Musgrove at home/night. Atlanta hasn’t seen Musgrove this year.
I hate that baseball didn’t at least give the Mets/Braves one day off, but it didn’t affect the Mets. Flying from Atlanta to SD - you almost expect Atlanta to lose 2 in a row.
In both games, both teams hit the throwing arm of the opposing pitcher the same. It’s basically even.
I’m thinking the Braves are just worn out and the Mets will continue to roll and find a way to win.
Thoughts are much appreciated. BOL!
