Embarrassingly as it is, above are the results of my 2-team parlay binge this week. After two plus money weeks to begin the season placing only single bet wagers, I felt I was invincible and that everything I wagered on would turn to gold. That clearly was not the case as I ventured into 2-team parlays. Rather than sit on a loss or two, the wagers became chases the next day and so forth and now I find myself seven consecutive losses deep. Rather than sit on the losses, I am determined to return each and every single dollar. This may come quickly or it make take me the course of the season but I will accomplish the goal of this thread. I do still consider two heavy chalk favorites that result in plus money to be a decent wager. This thread will live until I am completely out of the red. I consider it a challenge that I am determined to overcome.
Parlay wagers will consist of only two teams. Usually they will be two heavy chalk favorites. I may consider some +1.5 run lines if the price is right. No less than $100 will be risked and I can't imagine wagering anything higher than $200 on one of these.
I expect some backlash from this thread as parlays are often ridiculed in sports betting. These are just two team parlays in which I hope to return anywhere from even money to possibly two to one.
Should you have a suggestion for a two team parlay that fits the criteria for that given day, I would love to hear it.
I will continue to have my single bet wagers threaded daily. Continue to gauge interest in those plays too, as they have gone well for me the first three weeks of the season.
Thanks for listening to my vent. Here we go...
Monday 4/21
Tigers (Sanchez) -180 / Mariners (Hernandez) -260 (+115.4) $100 / $115.40
Best of luck to everyone
