Do not confuse Locke with Garcia. Garcia has stud potential and Locke
falls on his knees to worship the baseball gods every time he survives another
day at the major league level. A couple of years ago he made the All Star team
with the luckiest 1st half of a season in his entire career. He
promptly dove in the dumpster after that and has been seen since. Before last
night the Brewers looked very good versus lefty with 2 quality performances
that left them with a 5.06 oera versus lefty. Last night just reinforced the
public feeling that they are a “bad team” and no threat to a “powerhouse’ like
the Pirates. The Pirates are slumping, dropping 3 of 4 to the Tigers. Although
they hit the ball well early on and have established a 4.38 oera to date, they
slumped to 2.04 the last 3. Momentum matters, and just changing opponents is
not always the cure for a slump.
Angels -117, Richards/Milone
I think it does the Angels offense some good to get off the Left Coast
and out of the lowest scoring Stadium in MLB. I also like their offensive
potential versus lefty and Milone is not a guy I see on the All Star team or
challenging for the Cy Young. The Angels have established only a 3.1 oera
against lefty to date, but knocked Surkamp out in 4.2 yesterday. We all know
the Twins are in a skid with their 0-9 start and there is no reason it can’t
hit 10 with their taking a 1.69 oera against Richards.
D-bax/Padres, Under 3.5, -135, First
5, Greinke/Shields
This is almost like a homecoming for Greinke who had a 1.46 era at
Dodger Stadium last year and will enjoy a pitcher’s park tonight. In this park
Shields posted a 3.29 era as opposed to his 4.50 on the road. If you have a bad
impression of these two guys so far this year, all I will say is that it can’t
continue. Heritage already dropped this total to 3 and others may follow, at
which I would back off, but it looks very good right now and holds a better
pitcher’s edge than I had on the two winners yesterday and the recommended
ChiSox/Twins under. Go for it.

Thought I was the only one that liked Richards tonight. Might have to add that one. Good luck Key.
I can't see HFA as being a savior with the homey being 0-3 at home and the visitor 3-0 on the road. Looks irrelevant to me. Betting the talent here. Pitching, offense, better team usually wins.

Hello Key. Thanks for the write up on the Brewers game. With that being said, I'm able to get them at +.5 (-115). GL to all of us and prayers for a successful 2016 campaign.

You must mean +.5 on the 5 inning run line, capice? My call is for a full game outright win but if you are more comfortable laying the juice for a 5 inning play that is your business. BOL

I just backed off the LAA's last minute. Garrett Richards showing limited movement on his 2 primary pitches (2 seam and 4 seam), his curve is really just a "show me" pitch and his change up has never wowed me.
GL to all the backers, I just feel like this may be one of those crazy nights that Milone sneaks a W.
Totally agree that the U on the Zona/SD game is a highly probable outcome. I had The Snakes tonight and backed out of that as well since I can legitimately see a 1-0/2-0 loss in Petco's friendly confines. D Backs are reeling with AJ Pollock out of the lineup...
Nice to see you still on the forum Key, GL all season man!
