So sorry I didn't post my plays tonight.  It was Mothers Day and I had to put up with my ol' lady and my son - I do love my son, so don't get the wrong impression.  It was an excellent day for me.  I went 2-0  Like I said, I'll always post a betting slip, so here you are.  And yes, I took a pounding on that Phillies game but tonight made up for it.  Baseball is a game of runs, gentlemen!

I have to take Porcello over Norris tomorrow.  Porcello is coming off back-to-back strong outings in which he allowed a total of four earned runs and 11 hits over 13 2/3 innings.  With a mediocre 3.50 era, the guy just gets run support, his 5-1 record concludes that.  The Tigers have a much more potent lineup as well.  Not to take anything away from Bud Norris, let's face it - the guy can deal.  After losing two of three to the Twins, look for the Tigers to take the opener.

Looking at Gavin Floyd and the Braves at +108 against Lincecum in SF.  Floyd looked excellent in his first start of the year, only giving up one runs in seven innings.  It's about time to call a spade a spade, Lincecum is washed up.  Cannot believe he's getting paid like he is.  In my opinion, he's a mediocre number 4.  Once the velocity left, he has no secondary pitches to make hitters look foolish.  I'm not locking this in yet, but you can bet that if the Tigers knock off the O's, I'm all over the Braves with the night game

With plenty of game left between the Tigers and O's, I'll go ahead and take my chances of making this Braves wager.  Floyd opened at +105 and is currently standing at -103.  Like previously stated, Lincecum is an absolute gas can and just doesn't have the stuff he had in the 07-08 days.  After the Braves eight game skid, look for them to show up tonight at Pac-Bell.  As always, best of luck, Gentleman
