Total: 8-1 +8.19 units

Wagers will consist of only home underdogs. I will list qualifying leans throughout the day and narrow my final card down to one or two plays, sometimes none. Leans become plays when listed as an "Official Play".

TOR and CWS don't qualify as Home Dogs?

i'd say twins... kluber is just ehh the majority of the time. even though correia isn't anything special i'm not liking the stros or royals chances and i feel like any game with the mets is an adventure. just my opinion, though. bol not playing them though. unless something changes my mind i guess

Mets +120 (Wheeler)
- I am well aware the Phillies just put up 13 runs last night in taking game one of this series. They lit up Hefner, who had absolutely nothing on any of his pitches, for 8 earned in just 2 innings. Zack Wheeler does not lack for stuff. The kid possesses a very live fastball that is consistently 95+ and an all ready plus curve ball. He also throws a change up that is improving with every start but will need seasoning. He's coming off one of his best outings in the bigs allowing just 3 hits and 1 earned in 7 innings of work in a 7-2 road win at San Francisco. He'll return home to pitcher friendly Citi Field where he has had just one start this season. I'm well aware of the July Hamels has had thus far but it's hard to ignore the 4-11 record he has in 20 starts this season. For whatever reason, the Phillies just struggle to win with this guy on the mound. The Mets are playing improved baseball this month, having gone 8-6 in July. Their .269 average this month is good for 11th in the league. They have actually scored 78 runs this month, good for 4th in the league. They've played well vs lefties this season having gone 14-11. Even though they lost the opener, the Mets still tallied 8 runs on 12 hits. I expect Wheeler to keep them in the game with at the least a quality start in this one. And I expect to see the bats to stay hot. Not often will I get to back Wheeler, having seen him shipped away for a couple months of Carlos Beltran, so I'll roll the dice on the kid at home as a nice +120 dog.

I've got Blue Jays -105 and White Sox -109 on 5Dimes right now. The Rays opposite the Blue Jays are also -105 and the Braves opposite the White Sox are -101.

I couldn't imagine fading the Rays vs. left handed pitching. I will however monitor the White Sox line closely. Not too sure how I feel about backing a guy returning from the DL in Peavy though.

Agree with you on Astros and Royals. At first glance, I like Correia at home more than I like Kluber on the road. This Twins offense is pretty thin though. If it weren't for two costly Indians errors last night, that game may very well have ended 2-0 Cleveland.

Must win for the Blue Jays.  I'll be at the game.  They lose this homestand, say goodbye to John Gibbons, his staff and the subsequent sell-off of players.

although they are in trouble, I really doubt that any team is in a situation where it's a "must win" with 65+ games left in the season.
