 Not since Hal Steinbrenner did away with tradition for facial hair back to the spirit of 1976. I'm not even from New York or a Yankees fan but I love a stickler tradition or two. Now it's gone with a lot of other things in this 21st century era. I don't see how they would not be competitive in spite of Soto loss and recent injuries.
