Baltimore has Machado and Wieters returning so they have that working for them but they still need to figure out what they're doing with Cruz and which Chris Davis will you get? But they're probably best set to win the division, imo.
Toronto will be in the hunt if they can get pitching and another outfielder. Until then...they look like a good lineup and nothing more.
Boston needs a rotation as well as their offense looks set if healthy. Not quite sure about their bullpen right now, either.
Yankees are trash as it stands right now and I have no idea what's going on with Tanaka. He should have had surgery the moment he was diagnosed with a slight tear in his UCL. He's still a ticking time bomb for that surgery. This isn't the Yankees of old. They went all out last offseason and that did nothing for them. How much more could they possibly do? They need a stacked rotation because there isn't much more they can do on offense with A-Rod coming back and McCann, Ellsbury, Tex, Beltran and Gardner locked into their positions. I have no idea where they're going to get a SS from. And I have no idea who will be in their rotation next season. Pineda can't stay healthy? What is Sabathia anymore? Tanaka won't last. Nova is recovering. How good is Greene? Phelps is an arguable #5 regardless. They look BAD.
As for the Rays...you just never know. Will there be Rays magic or was it just Joe Maddon magic? They still have a SOLID rotation and a decent lineup and really good bullpen. But only time will tell with these guys.
