Angel Backers, please check in to the , im on the lucky side of a moose thread
Wow Superfigg... are you really classifying this the same as the MIN/OAK game where Twins lost a 10 run (not 2 run) lead. Then when the Twins would have tied it and had a chance to win it the ump blows an easy call at home plate. Is this really the same type of game.
This is a moose no doubt but not even close to the same level. In my opinion based on all of the above that is the worst MLB beat I have taken this year and the luckiest win anyone supporting OAK had all year.
That being said, I am not trying to rub salt in the wounds I am just saying that they are not even close to the same. BOL on your bets tomorrow!

nathan blows i dont know what you fuckin idiots are talkin about
Are you serious? First runs given up since May! If I could bet live and get even remotely decent odds I would have gone all in on Nathan closing this game out. He is one of the best if not the best closer in baseball. Stop making rediculous comments like that! Sorry you lost but hell I lost far worst this year. By far worst! Also stop with the comments that the Twins are one of the worst teams in the league. I can name around half the league that is worst. Twins always have a rough west coast road trip. It just happens. That was the case back in 1983 when I first started watching the Twins as a young child!
Again just stop making stupid comments. That being said, BOL on your bets tomorrow!

the odds of nathan , giving up 2 hits , with 2 outs to tie the game, plus the extra inning factor, with no dh , while its not the same as a 10 run blown lead in the 5th , is preety high up there itself.. think what you want,,

Jaysdbubwhat... is this the first time a closer has blown a save in your life? Please show me of all the best closers in the history of the game where this hasn't happened from time to time.
You cannot tell me that when there were two out and runners on 1st and 2nd that you would have switched tickets with any LAA ML backer. If given the opportunity I would have with a MIN backer in a heartbeat!
He is not a $hitty closer. He is one of the best. Left a fast ball over the heart of the plate and made a mistake. For God sakes it happens all of them time in baseball this year. How does this surprise you?

Okay I will grant you how difficult that is... but SERIOUSLY... giving up a ten run lead is nearly unquantifible about how many things have to go right for the trailing team and wrong for the leading team. Again not even close to the same circumstance. And frankly you are very small and intelligent capper I cannot believe you are suggesting that. I think when you think back on this game and reflect on the other you will definately agree. But like I said before BOL. This posting is not intended to rub any salt in the wounds but only because I disagree with your statement.

Jaysvdubwhat... I am sorry for your loss. I really am! It was a very unlikely comeback. My only point to superfigg was that it was not nearly as unlikely as the one we saw earlier this week. You have been a member longer than me and you know this already but we all had $hitty days before. You will be back on top tommorrow. As long as I have been posting on covers I have not seen to many of these posts from you which is why I am surprised I guess that you are taking this so differently. Again as I have said many times before but I really do mean it BOL on your plays tomorrow!

I am sorry to hear you went heavy on the game. You must have seen an angle that I did not see and for 99.9% of the game you were correct. I have lost so many of these game I cannot even count (of course that is not true because we all never forget the bad beats). But like I said, I have rarely seen you this upset before so I know you are a winning capper and you will get it back, if not tomorrow but soon. Again BOL!

Gessus!!! I know I said this before but I really need to proof read this $hit! Yes I meant smart (how the hell did I type small). LOL! As you can tell Superfigg I am still VERY, VERY bitter about the 10 run meltdown. Even worst than that I think I am more pissed about one of the worst calls I have ever seen by a home plate umpire with the last play of the game.
You should know that I RARELY bet my team (the Twins). I like to fade them in spots that I think they will lose. My rationale is that in the event they win I am somewhat okay with that and can live with myself. When I bet with the Twins it is only in a situation that I think they will EASILY win so I bet them very, very, very heavy. So I lost my entire weeks of winnings (well almost I guess I do think I was still up like $50). So it still smarts.
Nothing personal.... just don't agree! BOL!
