Anyone else like the Twins to avoid the 4 game sweep?

I do. Baltimore has only won 5 games in a row once this season. They are 1-3 when going for 5 in a row this year. They are doing just that today.

one of the most interesting games today . Covers has this game pointed out on the MLB home page Hughes has pitched well against good teams . very well ..Line . Sets up for a upset. Gausman   for the birds has that great  under record along with his good record in general .Gotta like the under 8 .And maybe it sets up catching the Birds napping and Twins can pull one out here.

Hughes can get lit up by the birds because his pitching profile flatters the Orioles hitting profile. Hughes' strike to ball ratio might be the highest in MLB, he peppers the plate with strikes, that's why he's only walked 15 batters this year and has averaged less than 100 pitches per 7 innings. That's why he's still very strong this late in the season.

Only problem is that the O's love to swing, esp at first pitches, and they can jack it out to all firlds.

That being said, I played Minn first 5 and FG because Gausman isn't good at all Minn will put up a way better pitcher at least for now and they can hit sometimes. Game flies over imo tho

One other thing that is importantThe O&#x27;s have only 2 good relievers, O&#x27;Day and Britton. They had to use Brit in 2 straight games. The Twins have 2 good relievers they haven&#x27;t been used yet and are fresh, advantage in all innings for pitching is heavily for the twins and their batting is actually pretty good with Mauer back in the lineu and no one knowing how to pitch Vargasthink the twins gotta great shot today, good luck

I love when you handicap the heck out of a game and it comes out nearly exactly how you called it

difference in the game was over used Oriole bullpen, had to leave gaus in there for too long, Mauer comes thru twice, helped out by no machado to clean up at third
