Ohhhh how all the jays fans blow up being. 5 up. Unreal. I'm a Yanks fan, and I like to see the jays do well (odd I know) but I'm just outside of toronto. . But the posts... Shares...loudmouth rants are getting to much. Starting to sound like a bunch of leafers after a cpl game win streak. . Be proud, be excited, but be humble. There is so much baseball left.
Ill parlay Yanks for a treat. But it'd take some balls to bet them big against the hot jays.
Your an idiot. We are being very respectful in these forums and everywhere else, radio etc etc. Toronto fans have had it so bad in all sports for so long we don't expect much even right now. Since your comments were so attackful I will tell you that your beloved Yanks will not be in first come end of year but playing in wild spot and lose but I hope not because I would love to kick their behind in yankee stadium for further gratification.
This Jays team has had the talent last 3 years but now it has properly come together and our best pitcher Strohman isn't even able to play this year but hopefully he can help in playoffs.
I wouldn't play anyone against Jays until they lose 1-2 in a row. This team is on a mission right now and they want it.

He has a point, Jays still haven't won anything yet and baseball is a fickle sport where the climate can change quickly. Jays fans are more smug than the team is, might be part of the last 20 years of suffering, but let's not believe they won't go on a losing streak during any given series. This is what I respect about this current roster, they are almost in a dour mood every game, they care little about the standings in August. These guys are professionals, gamers, grinders; this equates to winners.
The point is to be honest and try not to cheerlead when you bet. Provide information and facts where you can. I felt a big roll was coming after the deadline and I took 9 of their last 15 games, all wins for me, I sprinkled in some Mets games and some over/unders. I can do this with confidence and conviction because I watch them play every game, if I was watching any other team everyday I would have my finger of the pulse of that team also.
Earlier in the season I rarely bet on the Jays as their bullpen was showing that they were incapable of closing. The bullpen was so bad in the first half that in a few games that I live bet against the Jays once it hit the 7th inning if they were up only a run. Now, they have strength everywhere, and some intangibles, so I won't bet against them in many situations unless a line really jumps out at me. One benefit of the Blue Jays from a line perspective is that they are a Canadian team, far fewer "homer" bettors, unlike say the Dodgers or Yankees; teams with strong followings and often skewed biases. Think of the Lakers, the best team to bet against if you believe they will lose.
I wouldn't bet against Price and the Jays today, doesn't mean he can't get slammed for 7 runs in an inning, but it goes against the grain to think he will lose, especially considering how hot they are. I almost didn't bet the first two Price matches because I don't like to pay too much juice, but he has been exceptional, the only real danger he faced was the bases loaded no outs jam he got out of against the Royals.
Just as I was on the fence the first time betting for Price against the Yanks, I'm there again, I will probably pass on this game. Yankees were swept at home last week, you think they are talking about winning only one game this series? They have sweep on their minds and the coaching staff have probably poured over hours of video to correct any pitching or hitting problems from last week against these same Jays.
Don't forget. Only one game was easy that being Smoak's grand slam game one last week went to extra innings, final game a 2-0 tight affair.
BOL all

You have to be crazy to bet against the Blue Jays at this point. They have shown no reason to believe they will let up this tear that they are currently riding. Let them lose a game or two before you start betting against them. Just my $.02
BOL Regardless!

I felt this was coming. Yankees are a proud team, a veteran team and they weren't going to just give up after last weeks sweep.
Tomorrow and Sunday will be two serious games. I will probably just sit back and watch as a fan without the sweat.
