discipline, win 100-200 then quit for the week. sticking consistently to small plays where you can afford to lose 10 or even 20 games in a row and not wipe you out.don&#x27;t play parlays

Handicap Your own games daily. (You can even navigate and find some very interesting stats/game information right here on good ole covers) look for Solid/concrete reasons to play the game side or over/under so win or lose your guess was educated with a knowledgeable and possible money making outcome . Also:

Don't bet blindly

Don't bet hunches

Don't play parlays (Unless you are winning and it's no more than a three teamer max! and again only if it's a little beer money from winnings) Because after all...it's a great power rush feeling if and when they do hit.

Play as many games as your handicapping homework tells you to.

be willing to except small returns and most importantly just straight bet keep each play to one unit and always protect your money and play 5% (that's being aggressive) and no more of than your starting bankroll/balance.

You have many fine handicappers on this sight that will steer you in the right direction of proper play to stay in this long MLB season but will you listen?....Hmmmm, That's a different story

one key a couple people here said is handicap your own games. there is a lot of trash around here and fake money/bets and bullsht. play what you feel is best.

Having the steak, discipline and a system that actually works is what matters imo.  I&#x27;ve won $12,000 the past 5 weeks and the biggest reason why is because I actually have a capping system that works and don&#x27;t expect anyone to actually show you how to do it..  You&#x27;re either doing it right or you&#x27;re not. Ya gotta find a system that produces wins, simple as that.

98% of gamblers lose long therm. So the question is how many of the remaining 2% you'll find on sites like Covers? Probably not too many.

Not that there are maybe an extremely select few on here who do profit long term. But they are in the extreme, extreme minority.

Percieved edges are small. Most systems eventually fall flat. And most posters here fall into one or more of the following categories: air bettors, ego maniacs, hobbyists and degenerates. The long term verified profitable poster is very rare. So be careful of the advice you get here.

discipline is key. Find a system that works and stick with it -- do not bet outside of it. That is the biggest problem people have -- they can't just bet within their system only. If their system has no plays for the day -- they bet anyway -- they need action. What if some had an amazing system that only had say 10 plays a season -- not many people could only bet those plays and leave the rest alone.

Pick your two locks drop 50 75 100 on them in parlay.. if you have other games you like throw some combinations together I usually do two or three parlays no more than three teams with 15 25 on those just make sure you don't put the same team on too many parlays because all it takes is that one game to lose and your day is ruined just do your research and the profits are worth it.. 400 a week. On average, 5 dimes is by far the best sports betting site you can buy up to 5 points on MLB games get your money

Parlays eat up a lot of your money l, but boy is it a RUSH. When you are down to the last game or 2 and it's all on the line, and you wanna start thinking if you should hedge or not.

money management    bet what you can afford to lose    discipline do your own research     systems do not work period     everyone will tell you it is hitting at this percent or that percent   which it might but don&#x27;t bet on it   in the long run it will cause you more financial woes     do not be a pig    pigs get slaughtered   meaning if your up lock your money and play with theirs   bet with your head not over it   do not think like I&#x27;m up this if i do this and that i will be up x amount   when on hot streak press a little but not lose everything    discipline  my year has 52 weeks      you will lose   just shake off and get back in    discipline   plain simply    good luck    happy wagering

Stick to what your good at betting. Me college bball and NFL so from Sept to April I make a fair amount of cash. NBA and MLB I try not to bet it if I can but the degenerate in me sometimes can&#x27;t help myself so some time i will bet the bare minimum like maybe $20-30 just to make watching the game more interesting cause I&#x27;m not good with those sports nor tennis or soccer. I can almost guarantee you won&#x27;t find anyone hitting over 55% plus in every sport they bet

Here are some other tips (not yet mentioned) that will make you some good muula..

*Don't think of it as gambling. Consider it as sports investing. You gotta have the right mindset.

* Have write ups to all your picks. And when you do, throw some fancy stats around. Not only does it make you look smart, it also allows your picks to be more likely to hit.

*If wagering on a sport like Baseball or Hockey, where spreads are less of a factor and wagers are based on moneylines, don't keep a units won/loss or ROI YTD. That way, even if you're down money, you're still a winner so long as your YTD W/L record looks decent! It helps the ol' sef esteem.

*If all else fails, find a good service to follow. I hear Covers has some excellent handicappers to choose from. Those guys are called Covers Experts for a reason!
