I am done for the season, as I have hit my goal of +1200 units on the season. This leaves me with enough money to live comfortably until football season. Usually I don't hit +1200 units until 3/4 of the way thru baseball season. This is the earliest I have ever hit my mark, still April LOL

Nice rip! I play a very similar system. I am up nearly 18000$ this year already, but I am going to continue! I don't understand your logic in stoppping? I find that the beginning, midpoint and end of season are very lucritive when only taking dogs! I adjust my unit size acordingly and have done this for three years and have averaged a 40000$ profit per year from MLB. I think you are leaving $ on the table. I have seen some of your posts on here before and have cherry picked some of your plays along the way. Good times brother! Enjoy the down time! I know betting is very stressful and I always enjoy my time off. I don't bet NFL! Only NHL and mostly MLB! Good job! I always like to see guys on here who have figured out that only dogs really pay!

My number one rule in money management is setting a number you're comfortable with that will make you enough money to move on to the next season ( I only bet football and baseball ).  Then you set your unit size accordingly.  Baseball,  is only moneyline Dogs, and once I hit +1200 units I'm done for the season  (this is the earliest I've ever hit +1200 by 2 months ). Football is all point spread.  (Mostly college).  Usually moneyline Dogs I hit my number in August or September and I'm always below .500 winning percentage.  This year was an anomaly, odds makers must have been hung over. To be 8 games over .500 betting underdogs is very rare.

You ask why not keep betting?  Why would I want to give it back, I  made enough to live on, time to relax and enjoy watching the games and drinking a million High Lifes

I've been able to stay away from the action. Haven't had this much off time in......ever. Been nice, drinking beer and enjoying Vegas and all it has to offer.

I've been reading this thread with great interest, and there's some impressive tipping going on just quietly! I'm interested to know (scratchmyback) how you pick your moneyline dog plays each day? Do you just pick the underdog in each fixture or is there more to it than this?
I assume you may look at any dog that's paying 120+ for example?
I look forward to your analysis and method - cheers!

Not picking just 120+. If you read back, picked a lot of +104, +105 etc... It has to be + money, that way you can hit sub .500 and be profitable. I cap every game, and if I have my line as a favorite, and the Vegas line is a dog, I bet it. Lots of days there are no plays. Some days there are lots of plays.
