I used to bet all spots before I got married. I choose my wife over sports betting. However, I still have strategies that work which I keep track of over the season. So here is the strategy and it is simple. Use Covers MLB print sheet and look at the last 3 games ERA numbers. The play is on the team with the pitcher who's ERA is 3 or more better than the other pitcher. This may be hard to believe but the record is 22-2 over the past week plus, with a 5-0 night tonight. The plays today were ST Louis, SD, Phil, Hous and KC wins in the bottom of the ninth. Be sure to list both pitchers if you play the game early!
I have made money every year I used this strategy in the past. SO what you can do is track results on your own and bet accordingly. What I have found is the HF and RF win the highest % of their games the dogs win a little over 50%. One other thing I noticed is the big dogs +200 or more sometimes only lose by one run so a runline may be the way to go on those sometimes.
Hope this is interesting and profitable for you all.
I just what to share money making strategies with you all because who knows how much longer I will be around.
Good Luck!!

This pretty much sums up 99% of what Covers has become - a bunch of degens who don't want to do anything but blindly tail, and then they get pissed off when a pick doesn't win.
The OP offered up a strategy. He explained it pretty well. I don't know if it's a legit or not because I haven't looked into it, but at least he offered up something that might be worth checking out. And what does he get in return? A bunch of grief from a bunch of degens who are too lazy to read what he wrote or are too stupid to understand it.
God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.

Note I like to see at least 10 innings pitched over the last three starts.
How I do it. Print out the print sheet. Look at the starters for each team. Bet on the team where the pitcher has the best ERA by 3 runs or more over the past 3 starts with at least 10 innings pitched over the last 3 starts. Example from yesterday Phil Flater 2.45 ERA last three starts vs Rogers 6.32 ERA last three starts Play is on Phil as Flaters ERA is 3 runs better over the last three starts.

Yes no plays today. As far as runlines I never checked to see if there is a good rule to follow.
I think these highest percentage of games are won by 1 run no matter what money line is for the game.
One thing I have done in the past is to do 2-team parlays with the larger favorites. I am not saying to do that, but you can certainly track results and see what you find.
An idea is plot the run line wins based on the difference in the ERA for both pitchers. This would take some time to do but I know you could find an advantage.
Good Luck
