I'll be betting Boston Wednesday, but not because of the streak or this "system". Should be interesting to see if OP pops back in if the sox win. Hasn't posted in this thread once since the L streak started.
I appreciate a system like this with really good teams. BUT. I'm successful at it because I wont chase a series against a team like CLEVELAND whom I've made most of my money on! You take a series off and look smart because of it resuming against a lesser team. Try to be a black sheep by adding your flavor to a system and make it work.

The martingale system has left 99.99% of gamblers busted and broke for decades. Why anyone would think the Red Sox would be the .0001% exception is fools gold. I attempted to be the voice of reason, but to no avail. The only way this system can win is with an infinite bankroll and infinite betting limits. The martingale system only wins in the fantasy world of infinite limits. That said, I thought the OP would last longer than 10_days at it.

Are you forgetting betting limits? Unless we are speaking of minimal bets, the martingale double up system can quickly get way out of control when you are laying -150 or -200 like today's game. Even a 200/100 gambler on the first loss vs. Tampa would have faced a $2,600 deficit heading into last nights game. If that supposed gambler had doubled up again and lost that 4th game, today's 5th game at -200 odds would have him facing a 20K loss just to break even (200/100 at -200; 440/200 at -110; $1,920/$1,280 if you are trying to double up on the 3rd game and make a $600 profit). By the time you get to the hypothetical 5th and 6th games, what books are going to take the bet and how many gamblers have the cash?
Please stop defending the martingale system. It's the dumbest thing out there for gamblers to follow. I know you don't use it, so please stop.

Easy there hoss. There are LOTS of SportsBooks to get in as much action as you want. If a person wants to be stupid enough to bet that much $$$$$, there's plenty of action to be had.

So Spicy, I hope that you learned something over the past two weeks. Invest your money smartly and gamble for entertainment. Then, after decades of dedication, you will understand the meaning of free money.

Dave....please stop fooling the people that don't know any better than to follow your advice. Your ridiculous claim of plus 120 units gives me a hint that you are a victim of your own delusions.
Just stop it. You are looking silly now.

Yeah.....my favorite part of davemsh's statement was how the Martingale system was PLUS 120 units when they have only won 91 games. I think he actually might believe that it's possible, which is amusing to me.
