Considering that Boston was -200, followed by a -110, followed by a -150, a true double up follower of the Martingale system on this 4th game would amount to basically to a bankroll buster if the third game didn't bust a bankroll already. The moral of the story is that there are absolutely ZERO "just bet it everyday" or other alleged "system" bets that guarantee profit. It's a fairy tale that only the fools believe in.
I appreciate a system like this with really good teams. BUT. I'm successful at it because I wont chase a series against a team like CLEVELAND whom I've made most of my money on! You take a series off and look smart because of it resuming against a lesser team. Try to be a black sheep by adding your flavor to a system and make it work.

Actually get your facts straight. This is the SECOND time this season Sox have lost 3 in a row. 1st 3 game loss came April 21-24. Either way, they gave them hell of a payback today and pretty sure they will tomorrow as well.
You can say though, they have NOT lost 4 games in a row this season. then you are correct.

Even a 200/100 gambler on the first loss vs. Tampa would have faced a $2,600 deficit heading into last nights game. If that supposed gambler had doubled up again and lost that 4th game, today's 5th game at -200 odds would have him facing a 20K loss just to break even (200/100 at -200; 440/200 at -110; $1,920/$1,280 if you are trying to double up on the 3rd game and make a $600 profit). By the time you get to the hypothetical 5th and 6th games, what books are going to take the bet and how many gamblers have the cash?
