Kinda like the afternoon NFL games. They look chalky, until they don't turn out that way. I usually like to take a chance on the ML of the heavy underdog that the public is betting against.

You know this...nothing to do with west coast or east coast. These are darts, you're doing well, but many of the "west coast teams" have done wonders scoring in the 1st inning including LAD, AZ, COL, and both SF & SD of late. Hence when they start to play one another, on PST, there is a higher probability they will score in 1st.
Just got to Italy and France for the end of the Euros so I'm absent for the most part. I also know when I have chimed in you've gone en Fuego so hoping this helps superstition again provide you with a huge day.
But yes, as I've said since we starting collaborating, there is definitely information on 1st innings but one error or stolen base and you're in a really bad spot fast. And with not even half the year complete, some pitchers will flip closer to their talent level vs. what they are doing on the field for the first couple of months. And then you will get guys like Cole and Scherzer back to join the party so individual team NRFI standings will also become affected.
We do know one thing though, Skenes is awesome regardless. Let's Go O's!

Don't know what the fellow from the west coast said but my guess is he pointed out that the west coast has some high humidity days which (and there is actually a scientific basis for this) that the ball travels slightly further in high humidity. If you have the sluggers at the top of the line-up in high humidity enviorments the chance for a home run goes up Have no idea if that's what is happening but if you're going to look at these West Coast games you might look for solo shots in the first inning as a potential factor

Thanks again for the work you put in

Amongst other things yes, "the guy from the West Coast" was pointing that out. And some of the best YES score in 1st inning, as Bettorific has pointed out throughout, reside on the West Coast, they are just squaring off against one another more these days.
But I'm from the East Coast originally ;).
