Hey guys,

The conversation in Dan's thread just gave me an idea. Why don't we have a leaderboard challenge for the rest of the season, where we try to make the most money/units picking only dogs. 

We will track 'one unit' per pick, one dog per day. So the aim won't be to have the best Win%, it will be to make the most 'money' picking only one dog for one bet per day.

Someone has to set rules and parameters.

1. Can more than 1 person pick the same team?

2. What time do Picks have to be in?

3. How long is the contest? (end of season- till Game 162?)

4. Define Dog. Is a Team where both Teams are - juice Dogs?

5.What Book are the Lines we use coming from?

Obviously the best person to run it would be our #1 Mod- Weebles!! However, if he is too busy, or not interested, then who? Betty, you're nominated, but what if you get put back behind bars?

See some have already made Picks, but Betty said to wait 24-48 hours to get players/ rules/ Thread set up........

I'm game- Sounds like fun

Yep, we're not counting picks yet, will do so once we start. Although it looks like we've got enough now to just wait another night and then get going.

I've been thinking on the rules and gradings (for instance, will grade each bet vs what were the current 5Dimes lines when your pick was posted -- easy to do with oddsportal). 

I'll draw up the rest tomorrow when I get home. Just need to see a guy about a starship in the morning, then I'll get everything confirmed and locked in.

Oh, and just quickly, as the rest is easy to answer:

No rules on lines other than it has to be full game moneyline. You could take a juice line if you wanted, but it probably wouldn't help you long-term in winning the most money. So yeah, -105 v -105 games will be legal, etc.

Yes, is fine if more than one guy picks same team.

Lines from 5Dimes at time of your post, as above.

Right up until gametime of your pick is legal, as it will be timestamped here for later grading. If don't post before first pitch, not legal.
