I have two games pending (Rays and CLE/SF over), and there's zero chance I can stay up and wait for them to be graded. Will update records tomorrow afternoon/evening, since I want to get my plays in before the lines move. Good luck gents.
Usually there is a game every few days that drives you crazy. Well today, I had two of them:
St. Louis/New York Over 9 +100 1-16 w/ RISP (18 LOB), 9 runs (push) Mets had 1st and 3rd with 1 out three times, including in the 9th when Cespedes grounded in a double play on a 3-0 pitch, and didn't score.
Milwaukee/Pittsburgh Over 8.5 -120 5-19 w/ RISP (21 LOB), 6 runs (Miss) Both teams left the bases loaded twice and had a runners gunned down at the plate. Simply bad luck all around.

Moving runners over has become a thing of the past. Sadly, it's been replaced by the swinging for the fences mindset. Can't tell you how many times I've seen the lead off hitter on 2nd and 3 outs later, he's still there. Couldn't even move him over to 3rd....

I am slowly adjusting. The game has definitely changed since around July of last year. Crazy how quickly it happened.

2 main things that have ruined / changed this game: Pitch counts & StatCast. Players have bought into launch angles and exit velocity, things that used to apply to astronauts, not baseball players....

I just locked in the O's and Cards myself. Nice edge in both that I saw. I was pulling my hair out in the Cards-Mets, having the over 9 too. Left with a push when I needed a win really badly there. Oh well, had the big 0-for yesterday, though that did push. Need the same rebound day you had right after last week lol.
