Sorry fellas, but I won't have detailed write-ups here today. Working on my NFL card for this weekend.
#1: Florida Marlins -113
Better starting pitcher, better bullpen, and better offense here. In Nolasco's last 3 starts against the Pirates he allowed ZERO ER's, 12 hits, with 29 to 4 K/BB ratio, in 21 innings pitched. Stanton is back today for the Fish. Marlins are 34-33 on the road while Pittsburgh is 33-39 at home.
#2: OVER 9.5 BAL/TOR -115
My model has this one at 10.7 total runs. We have two terrible starting pitchers, two bottom-10 bullpens, two top-15 (above average) offenses, and two bottom-10 defensive squads. This is a perfect situation to back the OVER as the O/U is 43-28 in Toronto's home games and 9-5 between these 2 squads this year.
#3: UNDER 5.5 LAD/SFG -110
This one is the opposite of the BAL/TOR game. We have two top 15 starting pitchers, two top-10 bullpens, two top-11 defensive squads, and both offenses that are ranked in the bottom 7 in the league. It's going to be pretty chilly in the Bay area and I expect both pitchers to be 'on' tonight. Lincecum has struggled the past couple of starts, but he's had an extra day of rest here and I see him being sharp. Dodgers played a game in Washington yesterday, then sat around for awhile as the 2nd of the scheduled double-header got rained out. The cross-country trip for this one can't be a positive for their offense, especially without Ethier. I have this one at 4.7 total runs and 6 would be needed for this wager to lose.
