#1: OVER 10 ARZ/COL -115 Collmenter
has had a very solid 'rookie' campaign this year but what some people
might not be aware off is that this is his 4th start against Colorado
this year. Last one came only 6 days ago. Against Colorado, he has
given up 17 hits, 7 ER's (10 total runs) and 4 HR"s in 19 innings of
work. I wouldn't be surprised if he got 'rocked' a bit by the Rockies
tonight. As good as Collmenter has been this year, he is terrible
against lefties with a 4.62 xFIP and a K/BB below 2. Against
right-handers, his xFIP is a very solid 3.50 and a 'filthy' K/BB of
7.86. Fowler, Herrera, CarGo, Helton, Giambi, Smith...are all lefties,
and I expect most of them to be in the lineup today. I'm not going to
talk much about Hammel as he's had a terrible season, but this is also
his 4th start against Arizona this year. Not much of an 'unfamiliarity'
factor there.
The O/U is 42-26 in Colorado's home games this
year. Both of these offenses are top-10 against right-handed pitching
on the year and I see a repeat of last night's scoring here. My model
has this one at 12 total runs. Good luck!
