An abdominal strain is a major hindrance for a better. If he's not 100% healed he'll be tentative with his swings. Athletes tend to return sooner than they should because they can't stand not being in the spotlight for long.

Or, he will strike out 4 times by being impatient on 60 mph pitches that aren't half way home yet and have 3 breaks left in them. Who really knows? At the rate this thread is going half of Covers will be watching this debacle instead of the good games.

Sometimes it doesn't move. Maybe Piss will get lucky with a floater. 

And yes, Key, Piss is more likely to strike out than hit a home run. That's why it's a crazy prediction. Crazy like a fox. an_wink

I guess I’m very confused here. You placed the bet based off of the struggling sox WITHOUT betts YET now that he’s playing, you still are as confident. Totally fine considering you already placed the bet but Machado not playing, betts now playing....no change in your confidrjce level? Regardless who wins it’s a bit crazy to think without the orioles best player playing and with one of the better players playing for the six....you aren’t swayed a bit. Red Sox drop 2 of 3 at home to the sh@t Sox now going against the worst team baseball? Hmmmmmm....Good luck tonite chief.

Actually I feel more confident now with the constant marketing of Red Sox dominant facts by the media.

Most bettors wouldn't think that the Orioles would sweep the Red Sox or the Mets sweep the Braves or Marlins sweep the Giants.

That's baseball though.

I feel with this type of thinking above, you are actually a series too late. They laid down to the White Sox at Fenway and one of those games was with Sale pitching. Coincidence? Well....not for me. This is baseball though not the nba where feeling confident that the worsr teams best player being out is not actually that acceptable. Again, you placed the bet and of course you are gonna stand by it but the reality is with Machado being out and betts in, the ONLY way the oriole win is of you believe the Red Sox want to hand yet another gift to a very bad baseball team. You mention marketing? Too funny. It’s the Red Sox bro; they’ll always get marketed. You also talk about a sweep? What would catch more bettors off guard? Then losing tonite or when they have another ace on the mound and the money is pouring in on them as it was with sake and porcello pitching? Again.....good luck tonite.

Too funny. “Numbers don’t lie”.......we talking the records of both teams, the win/lose record or the Red Sox following up a loss, the record of Baltimore without Machado in the lineup? Just to clarify something, the Sox are 27-20 since their amazing 17-2 start, which is no longer relevant. That is not unbeatable by any means. The question is if he pathetic Orioles can do it. As for Machado being moved...... people suspect the DL, but it may be to another team. The O's have no choice but to clean house and start over again. 40% is a bad season, 30% a disaster.

FULLY aware of the Red Sox record after the hot start but for someone to come in here (D1) and just say Baltimore is the right side just because.....what I read above is ridiculous unless the dude is a believer in f@xes or feels some games aren’t won in between the lines. No evidence, no supporting data above from D1.....just “bal is the right side”. Give me something at least. This isn’t the NBA. Ha!!!!!
