Thinking BOS, anyone got a good read
"In three career starts against the Red Sox, Singer is 2-1 with a 4.11 ERA. In his last outing against Boston, on July 14 at Fenway Park, Singer couldn't get through three innings, allowing four runs on eight hits while getting just eight outs in the 5-4 loss."

"In nine starts against the Royals, Paxton is 4-1 with a 2.57 ERA. He took the loss last Sept. 1 at Kansas City, allowing six runs on five hits while getting just four outs as Bobby Witt Jr. and Salvador Perez homered in the first inning."

@football_007
Paxton's 5.51 ERA on the road is also rather scary Why do think the Dodgers kicked him to the curb he only gave up 6 runs in his home debut against the M's in 4.1 innings

J Paxton team is 8-3 on the road when he start ( all with Lad ), while Kan is 9-3 at home when B Singer start.
Lad DFA J Paxton for a reason.
May be the over is the play?

over runs too high at 10 but both offenses could get it done.
Tough game

I kind of like Boston in this series. This is low key important for al wild card implications and I still lean fade the royals even though thus far they haven't come back down to earth.

@LAGameofInches
I saw you post about how after the all star break there is a much higher rate of runs in the first inning…why is that? Pitcher fatigue? More info on pitcher trends?
