Totals at Wrigley always get held back longer because the wind is hard to gauge.

Kluber on 3 days rest is iffy, and that performance game 1 is damn near impossible to repeat against the same team. But if that 2 seamer  tails like it did in game 1, the Cubs are gonna have a hard time.

Sac, u are a Chicago guy like me. Who wins tonite amigo? It seems like the media has already given Kluber the W. I think that is ridiculous.

Well I like Lackey in this spot. The dude has playoff experience and brings intensity..

Kluber  is definitely undervalued here but it doesn't seem to bother the books, that bothers me cause it seems too easy.

2nd go around for Kluber, Cleveland hasn't seen Lackey yet.

Anything can happen in baseball. No play for me I'll just be watching and rooting.

I agree. NOBODY is talking about lackey today. It's all Kluber but I get it. He was a beast game one. If the cubs win this one they will need to give lackey some early runs. I don't expect a ton of hits against Kluber but I do expect a few mistakes that could result in some long balls.

never bet a baseball parlay...i'm trying to bet cleve and cleve - 1.5...is this possible...can't figure it out on bookmaker

I think in this particular spot, the books really want even money.  I know that is their intent in every game but the situation plays into the cubs in my mind tonite. Kluber is great value today but I feel the cubs are as well. It is showing in that the ML is 50/50 right now. Perception is a killer in sports. People will remember game one and the dominance of Kluber, they will look at last nite and how the cubs got shut out and they will start talking about the bs curse. Common sense says take the Indians here, especially at plus money with the better pitcher. I truly feel lackey brings it though. The cubs have seen a good amount of miller already and if it comes down to him tonite, I think the cubs may get a run on him. I'm not sure if you are familiar with my opinions from past posts on vegas and scripts but it was so eerie watching the cubs just swing at crap last nite, especially in great situations with runners on. It just seemed weird as it did in the other games they got shut out. I gotta give the Indians credit but a different approach will be seen tonite in my opinion. I feel the cubs gave thins one away tonite and I know so many will laugh at that mentality but the situation was perfect for the books and the Indians last nite to win. It sets up thst way tonite but he expectation is that they win tonite with Kluber in the mound. I am going to ride my hunch here and think that this game will be won in the middle innings. I think cubs win by a run.

It was supposed to read, "I feel the cubs gave this one away LAST NITE" ( rather than tonite)

But since Kluber is GOD  especially on 3 days rest, hell make that 2 , why would anyone ever bet on Cubs and lose ?
Heck why not pitch GOD every game ?

three days rest is only thing i'm worried about...who knows....but pressure is on cubs..a LOT of pressure...103 wins in reg season...when's the last time these guys played under pressure

I would say last night was EXTREME pressure for the Cubs!!  I was all over the Indians last night because the Cubs felt the pressure of a whole city and so many expecting their bats to tear it up last night as huge favorites.  Cubs fans have been waiting so long to see a world series game in Chicago, and rightfully so that was the place to be last night.  The players had to feel that added pressure to come out with a W for them.

With respect to your "God" references in regard to Kluber, Cleveland has had a strategy all postseason to limit his innings and pitches because the bullpen is tremendously reliable.

Kluber has pitched into the 7th inning JUST ONE TIME in the entire postseason and that was in his first outing vs. Boston. In his other starts he went 6 innings, 5 innings and 6 innings and NEVER exceeded 100 pitches in those starts. His last outing of 80 pitches tells you that he will not be relied upon for more than that this evening.

The bullpen affords Cleveland this strategy and I think it's the best place for my money.

The best place for your money, sure. Can't deny that with Kluber going and the Indians playing the way they are playing. Unfortunately though, many times where the money is best bet, that's not where it hits. You have data to support your stance on your last sentence in the last post and I can give you days worth of data to support my stance. Really and truly, you feel comfortable with where your money is at and that is great. It just seems so good at plus money with Kluber going, right.? All I have heard all day is Cleveland this and Cleveland that. Cubs all of the sudden are dogsh@t. The line looks enticing and you guys just can't believe why there is just so much value....I get it. It's like warm socks right out of the dryer or that first sip of hot coffee after a long nite of studying in grad school. Makes ya feel good. Well....enjoy the game.
