No $ Plays for me tonight but a few thoughts:

1.  ??? For Bubba...I am a total NON NHL guy although I like the sport, just don't play it often.  I saw last night that both home teams than DID win, won by 2+...if you like Florida a lot (and I like your thinking) why not play the Puck Line and get back +190??  Seems like a better play, esp if Luonago  lays an egg.

2.  I REALLY like Top Flight's write up on the Indians....I will start following Cody Anderson more as he is high on him...don't know much about him, but the Mets are really struggling with the bats....

3.  Arizona:  I too think this looks like a good spot for Greinke, but I am going to Pass on this game.  Line is growing larger as I type and Arizona simply shouldn't be a -140 favorite on the road...they are struggling on the road...if I had a clue as to what Big Game James would do, this looks like an Under to me.  But good luck, no way you can play Padres with shutouts in every game it seems.

For me, I am on 2 plays that I really like and I will list out a couple others that might work for me..

1.  White Sox.  I always try not to confuse things.and whenever I get a Monster on the hill vs a team that simply cannot hit, let's go fishing!!!  Sale will be HUGE all year and with the White Sox sitting at 7-2 vs a Rays team that really struggles to score, I will take the better team and pitcher IMO.  ODO is a solid MLB pitcher and this should be a low scoring game.  I just really like Sale!!!

2.  KC:  Sucker Play of the night.Just really confusing line...How in the hell is KC a DOG?  I have been and will be on these guys all year.  We have the staff Ace-1a or 1b going against Rich Hill.  Pretty good story on Rich Hill and his turnaround, but is anyone really sold on him.  I get KC who is hitting really well against the A's who simply aren't very good.  Their sweep of Seattle gave A's fans hope (for a week) but KC is a monster and defending World Champs.  Did I mention that KC is playing by softball rules and only play 7 innings??

Finally- some plays to think about but I can't pull the trigger:

1.  SF and Bum...It is just REALLY hard to see +160 next to his name with the SF bats and NOT play him....LOL  I still might!!!

2.  Toronto Over.  Watched the Jays last night and they looked locked in.  Donaldson hit a ball about 600 feet.  Weather always a concern, but both teams look like they might get this number with Dickey going against Meat Ball Porcello.

3.  Texas:  My boys, they can pitch and look like they might be ready to start hitting.  Balt scares me with that lineup, but I have a feeling that Balt will be at .500 in a couple weeks.


OH and finally, I will probably play the Angels tonight...just really because we get an ACE (or #2 starter) vs an average Twins pitcher WHO are 0-2016.  C'mon Twins...keep it rolling.

Although most people would say getting a push on the Game 1 under was lucky since it was 2-2 with 11 minutes to go in the 2nd period, I still say it was the right play. Throw out that bad 2 minutes by Tampa early in the 2nd defensively, and you probably get a 2-0 or 3-0 game. There just wasn't a lot of open ice in that game like I thought.

That being said, I just don't see Detroit's defense being able to hold Tampa to fewer than 2 goals after watching game 1. Given the Wings are in a 0-1 hole now in the series, and I see them getting at least one goal tonight, I am going to pass. I would rather error on the side of caution than making a play I am not fully confident in.

@PimpNation.. I am on the +190 as well but the $$$$ tonight is the Panthers to just win.  Nothing more nothing less.  When I post a $$$$ it is for everyone to win a little coin and this has the best shot in my opinion to do so.  Not sure if you are a puck head or not but you are getting the better team, at home, down a game for -150.  In a spot like this I will gladly pay the juice.  Luongo is the X factor tonight but I see him showing up tonight. It's Friday.  I just cracked a beer.  Lets celebrate a winner!

Just a few notes on the sox game tonight (AL Central is my specialty)... The reason we see the line at only -110 and I agree the sox are the better team and sale is the better pitcher, but throughout his career the rays have kind of smacked Chris sale around. Pair that with his "struggles" so far (7 IP 3 ER both games) and odorizzi on the mound, an underrated pitcher in my eyes, and we are looking at a possible 2-2 3-3 game when the starters get pulled and I'm not sure how much I trust the sox bullpen even though they have been stellar so far. With all that being said, I am also on the sox tonight haha let's get this W.

$$$$ Chicago White Sox -115 (Sale listed SP) $$$

Have been careful with my baseball betting to start the year, wanted to see at least 10 games or so to determine how various line up changes are doing due to free agency and how pitching staffs are faring, not just starters but bullpens.

I think one is getting fairly good value here by taking White Sox today with Sale the left handed wonder on the mound.  He has looked decent for the year (with room for improvement), even when pitching conditions were not ideal.   They will be today though since Tampa is in a dome.  And this Tampa line up scares NOBODY.  They have been poor at home the past few seasons, and this year looks to be more of the same with them at 3-4 thus far.

Not sure words can do justice with how bad Rays offense has been thus far.  I'm sure there will be a reversion to the mean at some point, but averaging 2.7rpg is not good.  White Sox are not exactly a high scoring team either (averaging 3.8rpg), as they spent the offseason focusing on their horrendous bullpen instead.  The result?  Thus far White Sox bullpen has been one of the most efficient in all of baseball!  Their starting pitching overall has been good as well.  This is key IMO, as Sale (while good) can sometimes get a high pitch count going into the 5th or 6th inning.  Last year that spelled disaster having the White Sox bullpen come in to pitch 3 or 4 innings.  This year though, I feel much better taking White Sox for the full game.

Tampa bullpen has been pretty solid as well so far, but overall I feel comfortable taking Sale over Odorizzi, the White Sox bullpen over Tampa bullpen, and the White Sox offense over the Tampa offense.  While one never knows the outcome of baseball any given day, if this game were to be played 10 times over, I think White Sox would win 6 out 10 times (at least).  Thus, only laying -115 brings about a decent value bet.

I did make sure to list Sale as the starting pitcher.  I left Tampa as action.  I always like to have the pitcher listed for the team I am backing, if not both pitchers.

FWIW, I also like Cleveland Indians today and am tailing TopFlightSports.

I'm also on KC Royals, Milwaukee TT over 3.5, LA Angels, Chicago Blackhawks

Murder in philly right now.  I am glued to that game.  Might be more damages coming. 

Most of my parlay has wash -1 on it.  Hope it sticks well for me.

KC under 7 +110

Kansas City hasn't looked like they have lost anything from their World Series win. Dominant pitching and timely hitting has led them to a 7-2 record and 7 unders so far this season. I see the A's struggling to hit Volquez and then we all know what the KC bullpen does "shut things down". I like KC in a low scoring game.

Im 4-1 this week giving u az win. I threw out plenty parlays but hit only one for even money. Won az n wash big play. Tailing brothers today was no parlay winner but had fun n will do it again. Nba playoff tomorrow. Time to cap n sleep on it. See u guys on another thread. Mn n braves both won otherwise more money in my pocket. Lost parlay to those is ouch.

I have a strong gut feeling on a NBA play tomorrow.  Locked in Houston Rockets 1st half +9 and full game +13.5 tomorrow.  Thinking about making it a $$ play but do not have the write up and going to bed soon here.  I just have a feeling  that Golden St, as good as they are, will take a few games to wake up in 1st round.  It would not surprise me to see Houston win 1 of 2 at Golden St. and then win game 3 as well.  They have the talent just have not seen the heart and team play to get it done.  Playoffs though offers another chance to get it done. 

If I'm wrong, I will be man enough to admit it.
